In update “Imperial Navy” we will add two new locations to the game - the aircraft location “Smolensk” and a naval location “Volcanic Island”.
Location : Volcanic Island
The naval location “Volcanic Island” - is an archipelago of small rocky islands concentrically diverging from the centre of the location where there is one of the capture points. Inspiration for this map was taken from the seascape, rocks, vegetation and nature around New Zealand.
Location : Smolensk
The location for aircraft battles “Smolensk” has been created on with reference to aerial photography of Smolensk and its environs in autumn 1941. Here, during the Battle of Smolensk, even with the high cost in human and material losses for the Red Army, it was possible to disrupt the “Barbarossa” plan and to prevent the breakthrough of the German army towards Moscow.

Wake Island and Midway when??
Wake Island is for sure in the game already, and as for Midway I'm not sure...
Both are in the game.
give us smolensk as ground forces map, we need it.
I really like that the maps seem more like real life locations this time around. But I am sceptic about what next ground map will be announced. I bet my bucks that we will get another urban city map with arcade game style in a location thats NEVER seen any battles, or half assed map design. Game modes and maps is what make me leave this game.
Details and nice looks aren't that important. What important (for naval maps) is... their size. For higher tier games, for cruisers and destroyers, we need far larger maps than those we already have. I believe, WoWs is a good example of map making for naval game mode. Their experience should be incorporated into development of future naval maps.
Very nice! Always good to see some added variety. Would love to see some more dynamic aspects in Air RB. Maybe where the main objective is to protect flights of bombers or attackers, or maybe for attackers to knock out supply depots.

Do you guys plan on adding any realistic naval maps? The one thing stopping me from playing naval is how fake the maps look.
Come on... the maps look great... and if you dont play naval... how can you tell how the maps look? a picture is one thing... play them is another thing
