We are pleased to present heavy hitting boat that will appear in the War Thunder naval warfare closed beta test very soon: the German multi-purpose MZ1.
The MZ1 is an advanced German boat project created at the end of World War II. The leading boat of the series was laid down in 1943 and went into testing at the end of August 1944.

In total, the Germans were able to build one boat of the twelve planned in this series. Three more were ready for assembly. All the built boats ended up at the disposal of the British occupational forces. The leading boat was sent to England for testing, while the remaining boats were scrapped.

The leading MZ1 series boat has become a new ship in the Kriegsmarine tree in War Thunder. The letters MZ in its name are an abbreviation of the German Mehrzweckboot, meaning "multi-purpose boat", which entirely discloses its intended purpose.

The MZ-1 is a multi-target weapons platform with guns of several calibers, torpedoes and depth charges capable of solving any task of a small fleet. In battle, the MZ1 is an incessant and vociferous barrage of shells from an 88 mm, a 37 mm and several 20 mm cannons that generously rain fire down on the enemy. The two torpedo bays and six depth charges complete the image of this floating monster. There are no targets in the game that the MZ1 can’t take care of!

Bigger boats great let me know when ships come in the game then i might be interested in naval forces. It also looks like War Thunder has new competition a F2P game called GunFleet coming soon on steam another boat game great. Which dose not matter i have no interest in boats.
wow love what the looks like and can do.players ask for to much to fast- it took wargaming almost 3yrs to get the ships out.now players here want it over night. we need to work on what we got first. give Gaijin a break it's coming just takes time.
Overnight? According to Gaijin's own words, they initially started work on ships before they started on tanks.

I'm in LOVE with this! It is soooo amazing, I love the model, the armament seems pretty good, and at the size I think it got some armor, (Sry I didn't read the entire article :/) Keep the great work and good luck with the CBT :3

On the bright side, Gaijin finally decided to use the word 'boat' at least.
It has torpedos. Technicalyuit could "take care of" a Battleship.
Beautiful ship!!!! ill definitely be grinding for this one!!!! And BTW its bigger 100ft so it should be considered a ship. and will the British tech tree be getting some to??? 5 were captured by Britain in wwII
Did it just say depth charges? Does that mean submarines?
If a boat as large as this can be made, so should a destroyer or cruiser, isn't it? ;)
