We’re pleased to announce a new nation making their entry into War Thunder update 1.91 - China! One of the oldest civilizations in the world, with a rich and dramatic historical background, especially during the 20th century.
The initial line-up of Chinese vehicles available in War Thunder features tanks, fighter aircraft and bombers which were used during World World II and shortly thereafter, and will show just how turbulent the history of the country’s military in the 20th century was. Players will be able to pilot aircraft employed by foreign volunteers from the Flying Tigers regiment which helped China fight against Imperial Japan, make use of captured Japanese vehicles, and command military imports from the USSR, as well as local variants of Soviet MiG jets and American Patton tanks (which formed part of China’s military).
Each vehicle in War Thunder’s initial Chinese vehicle tree was historically used by the nation of China at some point. The Henschel Hs 123A-1, for example, was imported by the Chinese Nationalist forces from Germany, and was used against the Imperial Japanese Navy during battles at the Yangtze river.
Immediately after the release of update 1.91 “Night Vision”, all players will gain access to an initial selection of Chinese ground-force vehicles and aircraft.
Players who wish to gain access to the entire Chinese tech tree as fast as possible can do so by fulfilling a series of in-game tasks in War Thunder, or by purchasing one of the Chinese pre-order packs that include a premium vehicle, in-game currency, premium account time, and cosmetic items. One of the packs will grant access to the aircraft tech tree, and the other one will open the ground vehicles tech tree.

What´s the problem people? There´s nothing wrong with adding china to the game. It clearly wasn´t that as much work for them as a complete tech-tree with unique vihicles only. Still 1.91 will bring a lot, so stop raging and lets see what night-vision and co. brings! (hopefully not too many low tier night battles that never happend irl.) cheers
The problem arises when they start including it in Simulator Battles. When 90% of the tech tree is copy/paste vehicles, that's gonna cause some problems.

I love the salt from people in here with the "ahrmargard cerpy perster" argument but there's around 17 new vehicles (Type 59 II+ count as such) in that tech tree not considering modifications to captured or imported tanks. Long live the Chinese tech tree and may it one day see all its lovely bits added ( like the SLEP for the TTS).

Everyone seems to be complaining about this tree and I cannot understand why. Sure it has a lot of copy paste vehicles but there all good vehicles with there own unique ones here and there. I'm really hyped to play this faction when it comes out!
So are all those rare Chinese vehicles that you had to complete events for(LVTA4 Zis-2, Type 62, Type 65) just going to be vehicles anyone can get for free in the Chinese tree now? That's pretty lame.
plus the ones that are actual china tanks are (planned) not even comeing in the update.....
Regardless of the negativity of copy-paste trees, I'm pretty excited that China is making their way into the game, it'll be interesting to see how Sweden and many others will appear xP Maybe a Polish Tree too? :P I'll preorder the Shengyang F-5/T-62 Pack soon :D

Honestly, I don't see what people are whining about... I've wanted the Chinese tree to come to the general War Thunder server, even if it's mostly copy paste, there are a few different tanks with a different setup. You don't HAVE to grind it you know.
Unlike a lot of people, I'm genuinely excited about China finally being here xP I'll even be preordering soon xD
