We do not often introduce completely new nations into War Thunder. So you might have questions. We tried to answer the most common ones here:
When will the closed test of the Italian aircraft tree start and how it will be done?

Many of you are already familiar with the procedure for the implementation of new vehicles from a new nation into the game: all Italian aircraft will be opened from the beginning for research and purchase for “Tester” (read below on how to become a tester). As the tests are conducted, players will regularly get the opportunity to research and purchase a few new vehicles. The list of the vehicles will be published in the news.

Detailed information on the various methods will be published later, but you can currently purchase pre-order packs, which in addition to Italian premium machines, include Test status and unique pre-order bonuses.
Some Italian aircraft are already represented in the German tree. What will happen to them?

They will remain with those players who have researched and purchased them and will still be in the German tree. Also, the modules and improvements for those aircraft will remain tied only to them. For other players they will just disappear and their new representations will appear in the Italian tree.
Will the Italian premium vehicle packs stay available for purchase in the shop?

They will be available to purchase for some time, but after update 1.69 is released. Special pre-order bonuses, like decals and titles will however disappear from these packs.

Sooo... When is Germany going to get some new fighters, or a new jet?
So will there be an F-84G or other F-84 in the US tech tree other than the F-84B? It is a little odd that the only variant of an iconic US jet in the tech tree is an early version with little production compared to later versions.
The US have some of the Top Jets as it is, so there is no gap for another F84G to fill on the US tree... it maybe possible some time down the road, but that being said there maybe other things that would be better suited to the US tree anyway down the road

So i guess no clarification on the "Tank PVE training" from the preliminary patch notes? When i was on the dev server i couldn't for the life of me figure out what you meant becuase i saw new game modes like this on it.
we are till missin the PvE mode for ground forces which should have been released with last update, so probably that
Thank You for ITT again :). One question though, are there plans to add Aerfer Sagittario 2/Ariete planes down the line? They would fill that BR gap after Bf109AS rather nicely.
There will be new additions to the Italian Tech Tree over time, there is lots to cover! so as patches are rolled out down the line you could expect new additions to the Tree, the ITT may seem a little empty right now, but, it is a good start and it will fill up nicely as we go forwards... lots of testing is required with what we have so far, so it maybe too much to test if we had a full tree to begin with... plus if it was full there wouldnt be much to expect down the road :P so there is quite a lot to look forward to!

THe matchmaking it's fked up. Everytime i use the Tiger I im matched with Tiger II and post war things.
Prelude11, Post war things like the PT-76B soviet amphibious tank? Side note: I love when I squad up with someone with a bigger BR than me so I can humiliate some foes, i. e. killing a Pz VI Tiger with T-34 1942. Once I killed a T-54 then an IS-4M with my T-44-85. I was so happy.
*GASP* The F-84G!!!! =O Can we please get this baby added to the US tree! This is the model I've been wanting most for US (aside from the F model hehe). I'm really hyped for the Italian planes, but... Japan isn't getting any of it's missing attackers and dive/torpedo bombers again? :'(
please add smoke launcher on tiger and other tanks which has smoke pods on their tanks even ww2 as post war
I have to say, I'm disappointed all the existing Italian planes I've already researched and purchased will remain in the German aircraft tree. I'd much rather they be moved to the new Italian aircraft tree where they belong. :(
Even though I see the problem with the crew I would appreciate to have a choice: remaining in German tree with fully leveled crew or moving to Italian tree and level the crew again which I have to do anyway ... ofc the plane related crew status should be kept (Expert/Ace). From the moment there is an Italian TT I really don't want my Italian planes (15) to remain in the German TT!!! ... and btw it will be much harder if not impossible for me (in the beginning) to unlock rank 2 or 3 ;)
If they say, the Italian planes will stay on the German tree. How do you open rank 3 in the Italian tree ??? Only 3 or 2 planes will remain in rank 2.
Totally agree - I see the same problem (3 comments above - didn't read far enough to notice your comment) and tbh I don't want my Italian planes to remain in the German tree if there is an Italian tree! ... just NO
