We’re pleased to announce a new nation making their entry into War Thunder update 1.91 - China! One of the oldest civilizations in the world, with a rich and dramatic historical background, especially during the 20th century.
The initial line-up of Chinese vehicles available in War Thunder features tanks, fighter aircraft and bombers which were used during World World II and shortly thereafter, and will show just how turbulent the history of the country’s military in the 20th century was. Players will be able to pilot aircraft employed by foreign volunteers from the Flying Tigers regiment which helped China fight against Imperial Japan, make use of captured Japanese vehicles, and command military imports from the USSR, as well as local variants of Soviet MiG jets and American Patton tanks (which formed part of China’s military).
Each vehicle in War Thunder’s initial Chinese vehicle tree was historically used by the nation of China at some point. The Henschel Hs 123A-1, for example, was imported by the Chinese Nationalist forces from Germany, and was used against the Imperial Japanese Navy during battles at the Yangtze river.
Immediately after the release of update 1.91 “Night Vision”, all players will gain access to an initial selection of Chinese ground-force vehicles and aircraft.
Players who wish to gain access to the entire Chinese tech tree as fast as possible can do so by fulfilling a series of in-game tasks in War Thunder, or by purchasing one of the Chinese pre-order packs that include a premium vehicle, in-game currency, premium account time, and cosmetic items. One of the packs will grant access to the aircraft tech tree, and the other one will open the ground vehicles tech tree.

Right what we needed right now instead of fixing the game.
You people still don't get it, do you? Adding new vehicles or trees isn't going to slow down rebalancing and bug fixing at all, and spamming gaijin with the same message on every devblog they release won't do shit. Maybe you should go to the forums and make a thread about it. Half the people in this community contradict eachother and then claim that everyone agrees with them. It takes a little while, but if enough people agree on an idea on the forums, gaijin will almost certainly listen.
All answers (13)Nerdzy, You make it seem like we havent for years tried to talk to them on the forums. Suggested fixes, work around, balance changes, reimplmentations of systems that didnt work. Litterally have been trying for years. Years dude. Some of us are old guard or older that have been trying. What do we get? Ignored, censored, ignored. Deleted posts. And you want us to beat our faces against the steel wall till its hamburger? Thats your solution, cuz that didnt work either
The devs fix around 1000 bugs between each major, and we announced or implemented a couple of features requested by the community for some time (and it's not finished), we are "fixing the game"!
All answers (14)Ouiche, The more vehicles/mechanics you have, the more bugs will appear for the same amount of devs and crew members. It's not hard to admit that bugs are getting more and more neglected. 1000 bugfix between each major patch was enough 4 years ago maybe. Definitely not enough now.
Fantastic, so we are getting a "new" techtree filled with american (and some english) stuff followed by russian stuff followed by copies of russian stuff... yup a new techtree i will not touch at all. Well done.

It's true, they have finally stopped listening... Just more paywall vehicles, broken shell mechanics and absolutely no idea what most war thunder players want. Fair matchmaking, Fix the trees, anything that can't fire heat or sabo should be 7.3 or lower. Anything that packs propper heat or sabo should be 8.0 upwards. There I fixed the problem.

All answers (5)Sajuuk_khar, What is negative to say about a nation being added, do you want to change history of what vehicles they used? Or is it maybe YOUR opinion that you prefer the Swedish tree - it's just that, an opinion. My opinion is, China deserves a place in this game, both for their WWII effort and especially now in modern times, where they are clearly a super power and still growing.
