Behind a complex definition hides a very useful combat ability to change the angle of the tank’s hull in all directions or the ability to ‘hunker down’ the vehicle, seriously reducing its height. Of course, only on vehicles that use this type of suspension.
Hydropneumatic suspension in battle.
Japanese tankers will be the first to try this new mechanic in battle on the Type 74 and STB-1 top-tier tanks. Full freedom of action! By default, you will be able to control the suspension with a numeric keyboard, and the tactical opportunities will amaze both the driver and his enemies. Add hull angling to the usual weapon angling toward the opponent and attack them while remaining practically untouchable to return fire. Settle the tank down and use even low cover to safely hide your vehicle, then suddenly, without showing your hull, jump out and take your shot.
Get to grips with this new technique in full and figure out new tactics in battle.
Japan’s top tanks will become truly interesting vehicles that are worth striving to obtain, and they will add a new dimension to the locations you’re used to in War Thunder.
Tankers, meet new tactical opportunities in update 1.65 "Way of the Samurai"!
The War Thunder Team!

0_0 oh my god yes!!!
NICE! but we are almost there! We need Track Physix, The motion of the track strain cause of the force reaction of the track when the tank turn left or right. watch this what I mean (look at the tracks how the way it re-acts on between Drive Sprocket and overlapping bogie wheel) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOYpyiDBKFc&index=9&list=PLCRW0JPFse3BRnrRKlyZe_d5IZz2fOWzK
Look the way how the track bows in when turning.
Can we get the Christie suspension for the BT-7, so we can change from tracks to wheels with a click of a button and a time to remove/put on, the tracks.
makes no sense
When you take historical accuracy too far
To the developers of War Thunder. If you're going to introduce this system. At least make it accurate and realize it doesn't take 5 second's to change the suspension system. Even on today's modern vehicles it can take upwards from 3-5 minutes. I understand it's a video game but if you want to have an accurate representation. Also you should high light, that vehicles in certain suspension modes (nose down etc) cannot reach their maximum speed etc, without damaging the vehicle.
we have dancing tenks now
Insert "They see my rollin', they hatin'" comment here XD
And the smoke grenades?
People like to claim that Gaijin hates Japanese tech... Well this right here is such an astounding ability to include with them, that I bet people start claiming "Jap bias!" in the next year. These are strategically FIERCE vehicles.
sooo...Lowriders?
