H-34 Choctaw: A Worthy Start
The H-34 Choctaw is a further development of the overall concept used in the development of the well-known Sikorsky H-19 helicopter model. A licence-built version of the H-34 Choctaw will await all pilots as the starting machine of the upcoming French helicopter tree, arriving in War Thunder with the upcoming update 1.87!
Squadron Activity Improvements
We have prepared some major changes to the squadron activity mechanic as well as an entirely new reward - squadron vehicles! All this will be available in an upcoming update!
G.91YS: Turning and Burning
The G.91Y is a further development of the successful Italian G.91 fighter which considerably improved the aircraft’s flight characteristics. Coming to War Thunder as part of update 1.87 “Locked on!”, Italian pilots may look forward to their first rank VI aircraft, represented by a prototype version of the G.91Y. Pilots, meet the G.91YS!

SA.316B Alouette III: The High-Flying Skylark
The SA.316 Alouette III is a French utility helicopter designed by Sud-Aviation in the late 1950s and was the successor to the popular SA.313 Alouette II. Mitsubishi T-2: The Supersonic Stork
The Mitsubishi T-2 is a domestically designed Japanese supersonic jet trainer aircraft, developed in the early 1970s. In update 1.87, Japanese pilots will also have the chance to enter the supersonic era with the introduction of an armed version of the T-2, coming to the game very soon!

SA.341F & SA.342M Gazelle: Light Hunter
The Gazelle is a family of light French helicopters developed in the late 1960s by the Sud-Aviation company. They will form the backbone of the French helicopter tree, coming to War Thunder with update 1.87!
Kirov light cruiser: Baltic Fleet Warrior
The project-class 26 and 26bis include six Soviet cruisers, built during the second half of the 1930s on the basis of an existing Italian light cruiser of the time. Soon, War Thunder captains will have the chance to take command of the lead ship of the class - Kirov itself - with the release of the upcoming update 1.87!
