Soviet SPGs
Attention! Outdated news format. Content may not display correctly.
Soviet self-propelled guns have been a staple of War Thunder for quite some time now, being among the first ground vehicles that made their appearance in the game. Powerful guns mounted on the chassis of the T-34 or the KV... unusual vehicles like the SU-100Y or the SU-57B… this video is all about them!

Can you please remove the new missile detection system from ground battles. The little digital red square streaking across the field in front of my vehicle from 1942 doesn't make a lot of sense. Especially when in 3rd person view. Seriously go play a game and see how badly it breaks the immersion when the red digital square goes flying through. It's not even like it only shows in modern MBT's through optics it shows in 3rd person view while using ww2 vehicles.
or just have an option for individual players to remove it that way Warner here can turn his off and the rest of us leave it on
CoachJester, That's fine too. Not sure why anyone would want it but ok
So why the hell dont we see the SU-57 in the British tec tree ?
oh and as for what is my favorite SPG well it is any of the halftrack ones mostly the German ones, you know, the ones you don't have in the game yet :( • SdKfz 251/9 - Fitted with 75mm KwK 37 L/24 cannon. • SdKfz 251/10 - Fitted with 37mm PaK 36 cannon. • SdKfz 251/22 - Final SdKfz 251 production model; anti-tank focus fitted with PaK 40 75mm cannon.
SU100. You asked.
90% of these are overtiered but I still love them
Thats quite a lot of nonsense in the video. Su 152 and ISU152 are quite useless, there are only few maps with the necessary size for them to be somehow useful. And even then their reload makes them inferior to the tigers and panthers they are facing. The one shot in kill for ISU 122 is also not true. I have just shot a panther through its turret and he was still alive after that.
Ghost shells are still a thing. Just had TWO in a row in my Su-100. Please, PLEASE fix them!
