The Centurion family
Attention! Outdated news format. Content may not display correctly.
At the start of the 1950s the Swedish military realized that they had to modernize their armoured forces. The M/42 tanks couldn’t really compete with American Pattons or Soviet IS-3 tanks, and it took a lot of time to create new designs from scratch. Consequently, the Swedish Armed Forces decided to obtain British Centurions: those were tanks with good firepower, decent mobility, a well-designed crew compartment… and almost untapped potential for future upgrades.

A little disappointed that this video starts out as more a Sweden video and not an actual video on the Centurion. Would have been nice if the video had a little more structure, started with the pilot Centurions (Pilot Cent Premium with its coax 20mm would be nice) and then the mk1, then mk3, the swed mk3, and then so on and so forth.
agreed
When will sim see a fix for the gunner problem? 3rd person view has no place in sim, or gunner control has to go w/out a 1st person view. Lowering rewards doesn't fix the problem, it just discourages people from playing more. Ask yourself, and enlighten us: why does the sim community for the game struggle so hard and lack players? Or is sim an afterthought? This is not rhetorical.
A lot of people aren't interested in simulator battles in the first place. War Thunder is an online game with lots of different types of players, most of which like the vehicles and the history for which they play the game, but don't really want a 100% full on realism experience. Some people do for sure, as why it exists to begin with, but the majority like RB/AB.
WarHistoryGaming, Well, I'm glad I got through to you. How long have you been working with the sim team? Does the rest of the team feel like it is an afterthought too, or is there no one working on sim? How come you didn't respond with your gaijin team account? Or are you just some kid making arbitrary statements and couldn't read?
Yes I wish the Australian variant from your mention of Vietnam was in game with the Australian Camo. being an Aussie I would buy this even if it was a premium vehicle.
Oi Oi Oi :)
Please for the love of god fix the helicopters. it should not cost as much RP as a top of the tree jet for each and every helicopter. and the sheer toxicity in Helicopter battles where a helicopter without ATGMs gets killed from over 10k by a Ka-50; combined with the very high research point cost at over 10000 for the cheapest for modules and the high costs for rockets makes it near impossible to properly grind. TLDR Please add a BR system to helicopter battles and balance costs and research
Don't use ATGMs then. If you just arm the Helicopter with rockets, then you can still spawn at the beginning of the game. The reason that they made ATGMs so expensive in SP is because they kept ruining early ground battles. Tanks could barely do anything while Helicopters with long range ATMGs just snipe them from 6-10km away. To be fairly honest this has bade tank battles much more playable at high rank, and I am grateful they did that. Also, playing with rockets on helis is more fun than ATMGs
Cat_Clan_Leader, He's not talking about SP but RP and he's right.
