We do not often introduce completely new nations into War Thunder. So you might have questions. We tried to answer the most common ones here:
When will the closed test of the Italian aircraft tree start and how it will be done?

Many of you are already familiar with the procedure for the implementation of new vehicles from a new nation into the game: all Italian aircraft will be opened from the beginning for research and purchase for “Tester” (read below on how to become a tester). As the tests are conducted, players will regularly get the opportunity to research and purchase a few new vehicles. The list of the vehicles will be published in the news.
How do you become a tester?

Detailed information on the various methods will be published later, but you can currently purchase pre-order packs, which in addition to Italian premium machines, include Test status and unique pre-order bonuses.
Some Italian aircraft are already represented in the German tree. What will happen to them?

They will remain with those players who have researched and purchased them and will still be in the German tree. Also, the modules and improvements for those aircraft will remain tied only to them. For other players they will just disappear and their new representations will appear in the Italian tree.
Will the Italian premium vehicle packs stay available for purchase in the shop?

They will be available to purchase for some time, but after update 1.69 is released. Special pre-order bonuses, like decals and titles will however disappear from these packs.

Would not be an Italian Tech Tree without them ^^ But, they maybe added in a later content patch, so have to stay tuned to Dev Blogs and Announcements!
Gaijin Please fix F84 inequality before it starts. It is really tiring to see other nations be given access to better versions of American aircraft time and time again. You have the power to stop this, and there is next to no reason to not update the current f84b, and simply convert it into a version equivalent to what Italy is getting. Transfer all the upgrades and progress players have unlocked and show them you aren't going out of your way to give America the middle finger.
This is really very cool and all (seriously) but it's become almost impossible to enjoy this game any more, due to near constant hit detection issues. Are you guys ever going to address that issue?
What are the two new locations and what gamemode are they for?
How come the Chieftain mk5 isn't listed here despite it being on the dev server?
I know it's far too early to say, but how much is there for you guys to do after releasing this tech tree until you start making the tank tree for them? Axis could use another tree on their side in realistic. Though honestly, I'd prefer if "realistic" was just as it is now, but that all nations can fight against all, just to make matchmaking faster and better!

do u have any plans of British golden eagle tanks?
Are you going to add Italian tanks? I personally don't care if they go to rank 5, it would just be fun to drive them like the CV 33 tankette, L6/40, M13/40, Semovente 47/32, Semovente 90/53, and Carro Armato P26/40. And will France be added? Maybe just the french tank line? I'd love to see the B1 bis, D1 & D2, Somua S35, ARL 44, and the ARL V39 in the game!
The Italian Tech Tree will have Tanks and Ships at some point down the road for sure!
