We’ve made serious changes and improvements to the Kuban location, which should be familiar to all tank commanders. So what’s changed?
When we were thinking about improving Kuban, we were aiming to balance out this location and make it suitable for an extremely wide variety of tactics and defenses. Kuban has become flatter (the largest drops from high to low terrain are gone), but we’ve preserved the overall hilly nature of the location with all its cover and opportunities for inconspicuous flanking maneuvers. A path down to a small lake has appeared in one part of the location that amphibious tanks can use to flank the enemy from an unexpected direction. On the opposite side of the location, we have placed an abandoned camp with gloomy, uninhabited barracks and strips of barbed-wire barricades. Here, in a maze of log walls, enemies can encounter each other at point-blank range. Hills traditionally attract fans of position and snap shooting.
We hope that our efforts will give you a fresh perspective on a familiar landscape and make your experience playing in Kuban much more interesting.
The location will become available for ground and combined battles in War Thunder update 1.69: “Regia Aeronautica”!

대단해!
Favorite game, always improving.
when are yal gonna fix modzark and berlin? really tired of being spawn camped from a cap point.
For crying out loud, do something about spawn camping in RB, and not only in this map.
Gaijin like what's going on? we don't care about the Italy tech tree or any new tech trees. we are fine with the warthunder we have nation wise so far. now, where are the sea battles we were promised? at the turn of the year, we were promised that it would be out. cut all this nonsense about making new country trees and finish the game before you add DLC.
I don't care I'm done with this game!! Every battle feels like an Arcade battle. It used to be fun and competitive. I've been playing since 2015 and before that I was a huge fan of Birds of Prey. The quality of the games STINK!!!!! Maybe I'll pick it up but most likely this game will be deleted in the near future. R.I.P. War Thunder. We had some good times but I got to go!
i must say, i like this update. it's nice to see this map now have character and a personality. it was dry and baron. keep it up!
Can you add new Air RB maps in though?
I wonder, why the revork of the old map, when they could add it as a new map, under the different name. Or why didnt they just dont add this new terain to the old Kuban and make it bigger, and work with it like for example with Normandy, Shinai or El-alamein, where they use the 1/4 of the map size for the battles in RB/AB. (the old map could stay and be played as a "fields of the normandy" for example
What is meant by comments "old Kuban"? Kuban has actually undergone a number of changes over the years. Originally the lake was shallow enough to drive across & exit via a slope, while the heights on the upper side were accessible all the way to the top where one could enjoy an amazing view. Since then Kuban has been changed a few times, with each change making it a tougher map to play imo. Playing different maps often requires different tactics, & this is no reason to call a map "tra...
