Another War Thunder mainstay finally gets a brand new look! Say hello to the updated Stuka in all its glory! In the coming update, War Thunder 1.67, we will be presenting the new model of the iconic German dive bomber – the Ju 87 Stuka. We recreated this model to the same exacting standards that we require of new vehicles being added to the game.
What's more, we added functionality and animation for the bombing trapeze – an integral feature of the Stuka:
Get ready for the legendary Stuka, beloved by pilots and despised by enemies, now in high resolution!

Will all the alternate Stuka skins that players have unlocked work immediately with the new models? I only ask because the Spitfire F Mk. IX & LF Mk. IX's didn't for quite a while after their model updates were implemented. Looking great though, I've been meaning to fly out the Stukas more often and this is just the excuse I need! And I hope that trapeze animation means we'll have the SBD & D3A models updated at some point!
I love stuka's ,except G1 G2 :D
the animation for the bombing trapeze Would also apply to dauntless SDB-3
Not all at once.We are getting 6 planes being remodeled in this update, and in the next update also some other planes and ground vehicles will also be upgraded too.
KaleKonj, verry soon
Okay, I'm really hyped for this! :)
This was unexpected...AND TOTALLY AMAZING. HOLY SHIT THAT TRAPEZE SYSTEM.
does this remodel come with an updated siren sound effect that actually sounds authentic?
those look awesome will it have the dive siren I really like that sound in a dive. :)
Both a sexy-detailed model AND a working trapeze? Daaaang! Nice! Very nice!
Agreed with Radrang! Thank you for your great work and continued development! Always looking forward to seeing what else gets updated.
This is very exciting, I love the Stuka. I hope for the enemies to be able to hear the dive siren and for the siren to be implemented in more than only one model of JU87. Any chance for a FM update? As it is now pulling out of a high G dive is not possible as it was in real life with the auto pull out function the real planes had they could pull up at low alt in the game, not so much. Although we used to be able to before the JU87 FM was changed to be much worse.
