In this digest we would like to tell you about our continuing work on improvements and fixes in the game. You can find information about all updates that have been released in War Thunder on the website special section.
Returning fragments with penetration
They could indeed disappear if a volumetric shell pierced the intersection of three or four armour parts. The problem occurred rather rarely but has nevertheless been fixed. Good luck hitting your targets!
Improving FPS and increasing stability
Improved FPS since the “Direct Hit” update, improved game stability and we continue to do so! A fatal client crash after a long game on PlayStation 4 has been fixed. But we wanted to remind you of one more important detail - an updated GPU driver on your PC is key to a stable FPS and client stability and every War Thunder player can do it.
The commander was drawn to the east
There's no other way to explain why when you switched from the commander's sight to the good old binoculars, their gaze was always directed to the East. This bug was very recent, but you reported it to us in a timely manner. Fixed!
If you don't need “Automatic target lock”...
...you can turn it off. This is regarding Naval Battles, where target capture could still happen if the target was very close to the aiming marker. Now if you disable this feature, it will indeed be completely disabled. Thanks for your bug reports.
We have also fixed incorrect (inverted) mouse wheel movement when adjusting the distance when the target was very close.
MLRS crosshairs tuned
Remember our devblog about rockets and missile ballistic changes? Multiple Launch Rocket Systems have been updated and adjusted crosshairs. It’s time for you to become a rocket sniper!
Weed’s back!
Hey, hey, easy... for Linux only. Some time ago, grass disappeared from all graphic presets on the Linux platform, and players had to turn it on manually. Rejoice, Linux people! The weed is back!
More improvements
For this digest we have prepared a large set of useful fixes and game improvements. Be sure to read the full list which we have prepared in the separate changelog - there are many interesting things.
Once again, many thanks for all your bug reports that you submitted in our bug report section on the War Thunder forums.

*Improving FPS and increasing stability* Thank you so much, this has been the best update for me.
Forgot to put this in. Nice work gaijin and to the developers
Crazy how a fuel bug was created by you guys trying to "fix" something in your game that had been broken for a long time, and now you have something even more broken that obviously cant be fixed easily. That and the steady FPS decline in Air RB despite any graphic improvements since the clouds and weather. Really should be your priority to fix bugs that you guys accidentally created, I still dont see any FPS improvement in Air RB btw.
Oh, yeah! Good stuff, Gaijin. Keep 'em coming!
Thanks for giving the choice for automatic target lock in Naval. It always annoyed me. BTW, bring back Naval EC weekends!
Interesting changes for mlrs. Does that also includes arcade crosshair or is it still disabled for those vehicles?
The good ole client stability improved, good job gaijin! :D
I updated my GPU drivers and now Nvidia Ansel doesnt works in War Thunder without crashing....... :))))
Is there any hope to fix the inexplicable 4g launch limit on both F-8E's? This is driving me crazy.
What happened to the Viggen and MiG-27s computer guns? Why where they removed before the live server?
im on console and in the hangar all vehicles have terrible textures this issue occurs in gameplays sometimes where the surface of the vehicle is just blurry cant see any details. I've mentioned this before and this issue has been on going for more then 6 months many people on console experience this bug please fix
