In this digest we would like to tell you about our continuing work on improvements and fixes in the game. You can find information about all updates that have been released in War Thunder on the website special section.
Returning fragments with penetration
They could indeed disappear if a volumetric shell pierced the intersection of three or four armour parts. The problem occurred rather rarely but has nevertheless been fixed. Good luck hitting your targets!
Improving FPS and increasing stability
Improved FPS since the “Direct Hit” update, improved game stability and we continue to do so! A fatal client crash after a long game on PlayStation 4 has been fixed. But we wanted to remind you of one more important detail - an updated GPU driver on your PC is key to a stable FPS and client stability and every War Thunder player can do it.
The commander was drawn to the east
There's no other way to explain why when you switched from the commander's sight to the good old binoculars, their gaze was always directed to the East. This bug was very recent, but you reported it to us in a timely manner. Fixed!
If you don't need “Automatic target lock”...
...you can turn it off. This is regarding Naval Battles, where target capture could still happen if the target was very close to the aiming marker. Now if you disable this feature, it will indeed be completely disabled. Thanks for your bug reports.
We have also fixed incorrect (inverted) mouse wheel movement when adjusting the distance when the target was very close.
MLRS crosshairs tuned
Remember our devblog about rockets and missile ballistic changes? Multiple Launch Rocket Systems have been updated and adjusted crosshairs. It’s time for you to become a rocket sniper!
Weed’s back!
Hey, hey, easy... for Linux only. Some time ago, grass disappeared from all graphic presets on the Linux platform, and players had to turn it on manually. Rejoice, Linux people! The weed is back!
More improvements
For this digest we have prepared a large set of useful fixes and game improvements. Be sure to read the full list which we have prepared in the separate changelog - there are many interesting things.
Once again, many thanks for all your bug reports that you submitted in our bug report section on the War Thunder forums.

Imac users are still getting freezes and crashes
I have problems with the camouflage of some tanks. When I'm at the hangar, I can change the size and rotation of the camouflage, but as soon as I enter the game, everything resets and the camouflage appears with the minimum size available, although I have modified and saved the parameter. I have this problem with the M60 AMBT, various Abrams and also other tanks.
ok so on MBTs and some other vehicles that fire a missile through the main gun, like the M551, T-55AM1, T-62M1, and M60A2, when firing on the move you will sometimes overpressure the crew and destroy your own vehicle. I've had this happen several times now. is this a bug or a new malfunction mechanic? if this is a malfunction mechanic, why is this one implemented before parts breakage on mid-late war German tanks?
also the only real bug a majority of us players care about being fixed IS THE STUPID CANCEL BUTTON for entering battle.
Can you add an option to disable ship guns from slaving to a single enemy ship.
It is the automatic range measuring that is doing it.
LSPRaven, It is causing the guns to be stuck at the distance that single ship is at. Which makes it really hard to fight off pt boats/ destroyers if you are fighting a cruiser/ battleship in the distance.
"Weed's back" War Stoner? Stone Thunder? By G-high-jin "Entertainment"?
Where is DLSS for Linux players? Nvidia drivers for Linux have supported DLSS for as long as DLSS has been a thing.
any word on when the russian sweep wing planes will get their SARH immunity removed ? they're literally impossible to lock onto if they arent in forward sweep mode
