From 11:00 GMT on the 3rd of October until 11:00 GMT on the 14th of October
Assemble the MBK-161 armoured boats and exchange them for the VT1-2 tank, the Whirlwind P.9 fighter and the H-34 helicopter.
Warriors! Command is demanding more ships to be put into service! To achieve it the admiralty has transferred the rights to build the armoured boats to private shipyards.
Get the materials and blueprints from battles, assemble armoured boats for your own fleet or exchange the first or subsequent ones for other new vehicles.
Event awards

premium, rank II
The “Shallow water battleship” features good protection and a brilliant gun setup: two 76mm guns in tank turrets, 45mm utility gun, assisted by 37mm auto cannon and high-calibre MGs! She goes slow, but true!
Will be assembled in the event

premium, rank III
An early twin-engine interceptor design features 4x20mm British Hispano cannons that easily bring down both aerial targets and lightly armored vehicles and ships.
Will be exchanged for 1 MBK-161 coupon
In the Operation “Shipyard” event, you are assembling the MBK-161 armoured boats that can be exchanged later for other event vehicles.
- After the assembling of the first MBK-161 you will receive a coupon that can be activated to get the MBK-161 (1943), exchanged for the Whirlwind P.9 or can be traded on the market.
- The second and following assembled boats you will get as vouchers which you will be able only to exchange for other event vehicles. 1 boat = 1 voucher.
Assembling the first boat
The whole assembly process will be carried out in the “Workshop → Shipyard”.
The MBK-161 armoured boat consists of Parts, the assembly of which requires basic materials “Metal and Support materials”, a free shipyard and time to assemble.

Will be given out for every 10 minutes spent in random battles at rank II and higher with a game activity of 50% or higher. The remaining unused time will be carried over to the next battle. You can obtain several containers in one battle.

Will be used for assembling all parts needed for the first boat. 1, 2 or 3 of them can be found in each shipping container. Can be traded on the market.

Available for all event participants after the first battle. Will be used for each assembly process and can be used only for one task. Each assembly takes time.
For final MBK-161 assembly from parts, you will require 4 Sets of Ship Blueprints. One Set will be assembled from 20 Blueprints which, like basic materials will be given out for every 10 minutes spent in battle and also additionally for a team first place(winner or loser) in the battle result.
Assembly scheme
To simplify the assembly, all ship’s parts are arranged in the menu “MBK-161 Assembly Scheme” and are divided into three groups: “Basic systems and structure”, “Systems and pipework” and “Ship devices”.
Assembly part progress will open new production facilities that speed up the parts assembly in their group.

- Hull - is made from “materials”.
- Support production - speeds up the assembly of parts in their own group (will be issued by receiving a nearby part and only for the time of assembly of the current boat).
- Support production slot - received supporting production of the corresponding group will be automatically placed in it.
- Remaining/needed materials for assembly of the parts.
Improvement of production
After each assembly of the MBK-161 you will receive 2 enhancements that increase the production efficiency by further speeding up the assembly of parts. You will be able to get 6 enhancements - 2 after each of the first three assemblies. Improvements will not be lost after the boat is assembled. They can be traded on the market.
Assembling subsequent boats
By assembly of the second and subsequent boats, the principle will not be changed but for assembly, advanced materials and not basic materials will be used and may also be obtained from the shipping containers for each 10 minutes spent in the battle.
In battle, tank element blueprints will drop together with blueprints of the ship elements - they can be assembled into a set of tank blueprints which are required to produce the VT1-2 coupon. One set of tank blueprints will be assembled from 40 blueprints of the tank elements.
The number of blueprints is limited: each player can receive 240 blueprints of the ship elements and 160 blueprints of the tank elements during battles. And the same amount for the first place on the result of the battle. Sets of blueprints can be traded on the market.
Most active players will be able to receive up to 480 blueprints during the event of the ship elements and 320 blueprints of the tank elements.
Terms
- Event items can be received in the following game modes:
- Ground AB, RB and SB.
- Aircraft AB and RB.
- Naval AB and RB.
- For every 10 minutes spent in battles at rank II and higher with a game activity of 50% or higher, shipping container that contain between 1 and 3 materials (basic materials by first assembly and advanced materials by second and subsequent) will be given out.
- For every 10 minutes spent in battles at rank II and higher with a game activity of 50% or higher, blueprints of the ship elements (up to 240 pieces) will be given out. During the second and subsequent assemblies (under the same conditions as previously) you will get blueprints of the tank elements (up to 160 pieces).
- The remaining unused time will not be lost, it will be saved and counted for the following battle.
- If the player finishes the battle in first place (in each team) they will get additional blueprints of the ship elements (up to 240 pieces) or blueprints of the tank elements (up to 160 pieces) depending on the number of assembly. The amount of received blueprints for getting first place is shown in the section Achievements → Operation “Shipyard”.
- After the first finished MBK-161 assembly you will get a coupon which can be activated to receive the MBK-161 or exchange it for the Whirlwind P.9 or trade it on the market. Second and subsequent assembled boats will be received in the form of vouchers which are required for exchange for the other event vehicles:
- 1 voucher can be exchanged for the MBK-161 or Whirlwind P.9.
- 2 vouchers + 4 sets of tank blueprints can be exchanged for the VT1-2 coupon.
- The VT1-2 coupon can be exchanged for the H-34 coupon.
- The possibility of trading event items is specified in their description.
- For assembly of each of the first three boats without use of the market, you will require approximately 15 hours of play time (specifically time in battle). The assembly time of any following assemblies depend on the receiving of the addition blueprints for getting a first place in the battle.
- Event deadlines:
- Shipping containers and blueprints will be dropped in battles between the 3rd (11:00 GMT) and 14th (11:30 GMT) of October.
- Assembly of the boat and exchanging them for other event vehicles by purchasing of missed items on the market is available until the 21st of October (11:30 GMT).
- On the 21st of October (11:30 GMT) all event items except vehicle coupons will be deleted from inventories and from the market. Be sure to exchange the vouchers before this date!

I've nearly ground my first vehicle. I was hoping to grind that TD, because I really wanted it - but the recent reveals about the 2nd+ tier vouchers (extra resources required), and the total time required and the time limit makes this impossible for me to do along aside a regular job (and family). It leaves a bitter taste in my mouth having to abandon it, what felt like being 1 third of the way (but was way less). Also, I'm not going to pay 55 euro+ (current market price here) for that :(
You remove the Panter II, Coelian, etc. but you give us the VT1-2 which was never meant to see combat. It wasn’t even a prototype. It was a concept study. An actual production tank would have looked quite different (very strong frontal armour, ….). And you hand it out with the least liked event mode you have got (15h / boat ... with a RNG that usually gave me ONE piece / container and a community that went amok over 1st places … I don’t think so).
But who cares as long as it forces people towards the market place…
I might be in minority when I say I like the idea of building a new vessel. If anything I'd like this to replace the usual get so many XP to unlock the next vessel. Would be nice to have it turned on permanently as an alternate way to unlock more normal tree ships :D That said I probably only play 1-3 'games' a day, depending on what boaster drops, so I'm unlikely to finish even one boat if this event is very time limited :( That said in other games I usually enjoy crafting, so...
I like this kind of events. Thanks Gaijin for all! :)
Between the grind that is this event and the absolute bungling of the German line at the ~7 BR, i'm just going to have to uninstall. If you site admin's are within arms reach of the devs, a slap in their faces would be what the community really wants.
I suddenly lost all of my support materials and other basic materials after I finish the first assembly of the boat, is it a glitch, bug or something else? I can now only get the advanced parts from the matches, before it happen I had around 55+ of basic materials, this looks so wrong to me.
Update: I rescind my earlier praise. What exactly was the point of making the event more needlessly complex after the 1st vehicle? It's back to the same old problem from last time where you are waiting game after game praying to RNG that the right part drops. Would it kill you all to just make it simple and skill based? Guarantee x parts after x performance? This is ridiculous. Another exploitative, overly grindy mess that seemed to have so much potential.
I play this game fairly casually on and off. The grind to get passed rank 4 vehicles is insane. Playing through these events I'm lucky to unlock the first vehicle you can construct, and when I see that this event goes from the 3rd to the 14th I can't help but notice it takes well over 10 days for me to earn the required materials to build the first vehicle. That means it's literally impossible save from me playing for 12 hours a day to acquire any other. Don't you think that's.. not right?
wasn't the VT1-2 supposed to be in research tree?
It is and was introduced as an event vehicle.
Stona_WT, Wording is key, my guy. Makes it seem like you put a planned-researchable vehicle as an event one. Should have said "The vehicle was always meant to be an event vehicle and is being added to the game in this manner."
You should be sorry for your bad english, cuz its "A" unique not an unique in vt1-2 summary.
