We are pleased to present an improvement to gameplay in War Thunder tank battles – a trauma pack for the crew.
In Update 1.59 ‘Flaming Arrows’, any ground vehicle can be equipped with a trauma pack,
which allows you to bring one crew member per vehicle per battle back into the action.
The trauma pack can be obtained like any ordinary consumable module in the vehicle research menu and is spent in battle automatically when only one crew member is left in your tank. If you have no trauma pack or have spent it, your vehicle will be considered destroyed when there are less than two crew members left, as before. The mechanics are the same for all modes.
Use this new chance and lead your team to victory, whatever happens!

Update: After evaluating your feedback on the recent developer's blog about the planned introduction of Trauma Packs, we have decided not to include the mechanic with the release of Update 1.59 'Flaming Arrows', but to send it back for revision instead.
There are already multiple ideas in internal discussion also based on your suggestions, and we'll be happy to hear your feedback once again as soon as we have more information to share.

I play this game because it is not like WoT; If this game becomes like WoT I will go play something else again. No exceptions.
personally i think this idea is stupid, this game isn't supposed to be like WoT its supposed to be realistic SIMULATOR game, and to add a feature that simply revives a crew member is the direct opposite of realistic... Warthunder needs to stop making poor decisions that in the end decrease the quality of the game, this is s similar incident to the removal of the 8.0 BR, you guys are catering to the Arcade part of the community way to much and that as i said decreases the value of the of the game

Not sure if i like the automatic use Would prefer if you could choose to use it on a prefered vehicle and itd make sense too. Take cover, patch up your crew member and go back into the action not unlike repair
Geez. What's with the negative reactions? I think this will be a great addition to tank battles.
I don't understand Why so many people oppose this. To me this is just like your tank carrying an extra person and that is it. then all 5 crew tank become a psudo 6 crew tank (only when the spare crew get used it become a 6 crew tank). But I have to say, this mechanics doesn't really address the issue that we are all talking about. Ground Force should have some kind of thing which resemble the similarity of an airfield to the Air Force.

Anything but not the magic bandage please. It should be other way around - if a crew member is wounded, even knocked out, but still alive, he should bleed out until bandaged or "critical" (as we know crew officially don't die in War Thunder). Anyway it's obsolete and annoying "feature". IMO bad design decision!
A joke it is. KEEP IT EXCLUSIVE TO AB. No magic in RB. I don't care if most of gaijin plays AB only. RB has a huge player base and you should give a single damn about it too, not just what you play and what you want. Start listening to feedback and not russian forums. Fix very very long addressed issues and stop being so goddamn stupid
Stop telling them to put all the crap in AB, you stupid RB and SB snobs. AB is not a trash can, AB is where most of the players are, so if they should put the trash on one of the modes it should be in RB or SB, not AB. Sick and tired of some idiots treating AB as trash.
I really don't want this game mechanic ... Please take it, delete it, just don't do this to this game ...
