Time ago, some War Thunder players founded  Aviators of War. AoW is a Roleplay-Project for War Thunder-Pilots with it´s own game mode. Their focus is not about unlocking planes, but the life of virtual Characters. It is played in War Thunder Simulatormode.

What makes a great skin? Working on it nearly every day for almost ten months, compiling every scrap of information about the aircraft, pilot, squadron, and the environment in which it flew? Meticulously rendering every scratch, dent, broken screw, epoxied patch, and stain from an errantly placed paint can?

What happens if you combine a heavy tank in War Thunder with a "Heavy Equipment Controller" aka steering wheel, a joystick, TrackIR and then put a former U.S. Marine behind it? Well, you're about to find out today!
