We continue to move forward with the plans listed in our roadmap, and the next big news after the La Royale major update is the updated economу that the majority of the community voted for.
The highly anticipated update is here! Repair costs have been reduced, while SL gain has been increased — so that, on average, players using vehicles of any rank will break even, even without a premium account. These changes affect the overwhelming majority of vehicles in the game, meaning that the average player is likely to notice them after several battles.
Additionally, vehicles of the same class, battle rating, and economic rank will now have very similar economic characteristics. You can learn more from these spreadsheets:
Another great new feature: now in the preferred locations and missions window you’ll instantly see which battle rating each mission is available at. This will make choosing your preferred locations and missions easier.
As we release the planned changes in our roadmap, we'll also continue to update the infographic, so that you can easily see what we have already implemented. Here is the latest version!
Check out these improvements and tell us what you think: on Steam, social media or the official forums!

One step for the right direction. We already suffer a little less. The road is long, so let's hope all promised changes will go through. And after that they will still look for ways to improve the gameplay experience for veterans and new players alike. Remember: a happy community is more likely to purchase in game goodies. My suggestion is to limit the number of same type vehicles that can appear in a match. So we don't have games with 16 F-5C + 4 other aircraft in 1 team.
Sure, but do not forget that step was also used to increase repair costs for most naval vehicles.
I'll keep my promise and remove negative review on steam, hope changes will continue taking place
I want to give you a cookie!
Snail eat souls... I mean VEGETABLES! Gib vegetables :) ____🐌🍅🥕🥬
absolute W keep it up guys
Glad to see the game is improving.
Awesome Sauce. Although this came a bit too late, lol. I've spent the whole night spading the F-4EJ Kai II, I could've saved on SL if I waited. Next step : Get the Chinese players their own server again, and some Australian/SEA servers ! ( Just a hopeful thought atleast. )
We do not have any plans to separate our players. War Thunder is one big community :)
Thank you guys for keeping youre promisses, and making and keeping this game great.
Negative review removed, very good job Gaijin!
After so many years craving and striving for this day... it finally happened! Amazing, good job! I hope all promised changes will be implemented as planned. The game is on its way to finally become the best version of itself!
so making 5+ kills without dying for ~50 minutes is no longer the requirement to make a profit for the non-whalers in sim? Neat! Something that could be taken into consideration for activity reward limitations in air sim is the more players on enemy team with more air kills ~= greater threat = more rewards for actions. Bombing sessions without action should reward less, and highly populated intense games on small maps should reward a bit more per unit of time. Old economy encourages passive play
