We continue to move forward with the plans listed in our roadmap, and the next big news after the La Royale major update is the updated economу that the majority of the community voted for.
The highly anticipated update is here! Repair costs have been reduced, while SL gain has been increased — so that, on average, players using vehicles of any rank will break even, even without a premium account. These changes affect the overwhelming majority of vehicles in the game, meaning that the average player is likely to notice them after several battles.
Additionally, vehicles of the same class, battle rating, and economic rank will now have very similar economic characteristics. You can learn more from these spreadsheets:
Another great new feature: now in the preferred locations and missions window you’ll instantly see which battle rating each mission is available at. This will make choosing your preferred locations and missions easier.
As we release the planned changes in our roadmap, we'll also continue to update the infographic, so that you can easily see what we have already implemented. Here is the latest version!
Check out these improvements and tell us what you think: on Steam, social media or the official forums!

Will the stock flares, FPE and parts still come around June-ish or are they pushed to the summer portion? Great to see the other changes implemented so quickly tho
RoadMap in article is current and on date :)
it's good
what is the avrg of the sl increase? i have 20 tanks and planes that i cant buy
If you got to the "Economy Revision - Our Plan in Detail" news articel there is a spreadsheet link to both average changes per tier and one with every vehicle in game displayed seperate
If i were you i would wait a bit if they are foldered vehicles because soon (i forgot when), foldered vehicle will cost -50% when you buy them if i remember right (unless it's only about RP ?)
Free repair time have escalated quite a bit the last 5-6 years, is this ever gonna change? back in the days most TIII tanks would max out at 1 day repair, nowadays that has doubled, (my crew repair skills have only gotten better on the other hand)
Great job mate, let's go together for a better War thunder
SL first, RP will follow in autumn. basically you are reversing what you have changed during last year. I hope you will change your mindset of promoting premium vehicles via gameplay frustration: - +1 BR difference in MM, which is the case for most of the battles, very unbalanced - arcadization of the RB, when you took out hull pressure damage, 3rd person shooting better than aimed shots - console legal haccking as they can use scripting devices - not stimulating players using more than 1 vehicl
what about the reducing the ground rp grind there is no mention of that on the road map
It is mentioned in the road map. There will be a lot of additional ways to ear RP.
the reward multiplier is referring to SL only or SL and RP ?
Thank you Gaijin for giving us more than "just" new vehicles. Will make sure to spend some money on you so you know that this will be a positive improvement for you and us both
