War Thunder background
It’s fixed! №36

In this digest we would like to tell you about our continuing work on improvements and fixes in the game. You can find information about all updates that have been released in War Thunder on the website special section.

Fixing a bug in the displaying of contacts

This issue might occur when the resolution of the game doesn’t match the physical resolution of your monitor. Air targets, in this case, could behave incorrectly and disappear even at a relatively close distance.

We investigated the reason for this bug which was caused by the complex system of rendering contacts and have now fixed it. Now enemies will not hide from you (and you from them).

Equalizing smoke temperatures

Sometimes some points in our digest look like chapters in an alchemist’s book but behind them is some pretty technical and useful work. For example the smoke screen, where a mistake at different times of the day, has different temperatures in your thermal imaging camera. This of course is wrong and we have corrected this mistake.

Exhaust while towing

Another strange thing happened during the towing of vehicles. Armoured vehicles that were pulled or pushed would start to spontaneously accelerate and leave an exhaust. The reasons were figured out and everything has been fixed.

Back to fighting mode!

Together with the end of the holidays, we returned to the conventional battle hangar. Everything is in the right places, be sure to check it!
