In this digest we would like to tell you about our work on improvements and fixes in the game. You can find information about all updates that have been released in War Thunder on the website special section.
Guidance systems
Issues were observed by some players that were using “Old videocard support” graphic settings. IR guidance systems for target tracking on helicopters, aircraft and ground vehicles as well as missile weaponry with IR guided heads literally went blind and stopped locking onto target.
The problem required an immediate solution the result of which we are pleased to present to all of you today. Target lock should now operate correctly at all graphic settings.
Repair at an airfield’s edge
Imagine the situation, our aircraft is pretty banged up from battle but we have demonstrated some skill and managed to get home! The vehicle landed but it stopped a little over the runway and no one wants to fix your aircraft! That’s sad.
We received your bug reports and worked on the solution. The airfield mechanics have been given a stern talking-to and will now come to you even at the very edge of the runway. Repair and win!
Smoke sparingly
The usefulness of smoke grenades in armoured vehicles is known to every tanker - as is the fact that they always run out quickly.
We changed the logic of firing smoke grenades on over 30 vehicle models which had a total of eight grenades. Now you will be able to make not one, but two volleys each with 4 grenades.
Selecting missiles in battle
Remember in “It’s fixed! №3” we talked about the addition of the M3A3 Bradley's ability to choose between two types of missiles in battle? Many of you reminded us immediately in the comments about a similar problem with another vehicle.
Today, the BMP-2M will get the same improvement - you will be able to switch 9M133 ATGM types right in the middle of a battle.
Counter has been fixed
Airacobras from different generations are popular aircraft in all game modes and make it to the main page of this digest.
We have fixed a combined 12.7 and 7.62mm machine gun ammo counter for the P-39K-1, the P-39N and the P-400. The ammunition for machine guns in these aircraft will now be counted separately.
Joystick for pilots on the Xbox
We have also added support for the Thrustmaster® T.Flight Hotas One for Xbox Series S/X users in this update. Separate throttle and stick devices allow pilots to take full advantage of the aircraft's capabilities! With 5 analog axes, 14 buttons, a multidirectional hat switch and a rapid-fire trigger, what more do you need to enjoy air battles?
Tangible improvements
For each release of the “It’s fixed!” digest we collect the most notable improvements to the game that are fun to read about. However in addition to these you will also find separate improvements in the changelog that will likely directly improve your own game experience.
This time we continued to work on the guidance angles for turrets and cannons as well as fixing a lot of visual bugs in vehicles.
Once again, many thanks for all your bug reports that you submitted in our bug report section on the War Thunder forums.

thank god, i actually thought gaijin doesnt care about their community but i was wrong
2 months is considered an immediate fix?
Can you guys please fix the bug that has been a long time in the game, since i can remember, and that is that your stabilized gun stops being stabilized when you enter in binoculars mode. Its annoying when you are trying to shot with binoculars and gun keeps swaying when it should't. Thanks
you do know right that stabilisers only apply to the gun itself and not the entire turret and so?
Silver1K, So it shouldn't be stabilized when the commander is looking through binoculars anymore?
where is World war mode? it's wiki said 6 months but it's been almost a year
bmp-2M now shoots atgms with button for stecial wepon BEST UPDATE EVER thank you gajin good work.
yes but now shoots granades at same time when shooting main cannon with its smillar issue like with rockets, but it hits ground then makes ground particles cover your sight in some situations so u getting blind
Renamed46949, change your secondary gun key
Cool, so when are machine guns or optics going to stop fully absorbing shells fired from tank cannons? Cause that would be dope.
When are you going to fix the strv 103 aiming, tank traction, wheeled vehicle traction? Don't tell me to submit bug reports because these have all been reported issues and you need to address them, especially strv 103s. You are selling a premium 103 that is outright broken, that is a digusting thing to be doing. Traction issue needs to be addressed, instead of gutting tank mobility how about you fix the maps instead? That's the whole reason right? You couldn't be bothered to fix broken areas.
any new devblogs today?
also few last opinions from me HSTV should be at 10.0+ and give it the proxy shell m3a3 is completely capable at 9.7 i even pull it at 10.7 and still wreck havoc, at 8.7 it literally stomps anything it face pls take this in consideration lastly pls make the TURMS 9.3 (maybe remove its top round), its literally ruining top tier for USSR, BR 10.7 and half of your tea is TURMS that is like a guaranteed lose since most of these dont have backup nor experience yet if im wrong pls tell me why
Please add Battlepass tasks for SIM. With a sweet addition like joystick support for Xbox, you'll want to support the excellent experience that is Warthunder SIM. Folks: TrackerIR is the closest thing you can get to VR, without the actual headset.. and its pretty damn solid. I just got HOTAS and TrackerIR, and the WT experience is fantastic.. but without those rewards, I'll have to switch between RB and SIM and my squaddies are hesitant to do sim, when they are only rewarded in RB :/
