The choice of attack helicopter for the Japan Self-Defence Forces was made after test flights of two AH-1 helicopters, which took place in Japan between 1977-1978 which led to the conclusion of an agreement for the licensed production of the helicopters by japanese companies. The vehicle represented the closest option to an american AH-1F helicopter the JSDF could get. The AH-1S is a modified version, equipped with perspective navigational and electronic equipment, also, systems that decrease infrared radiation from the engine. The primary armament consists of a 20 mm 3-barrel General Electric M197 rotary cannon. Players will also be able to install rockets or ATGMs on hard pointed mountings: 7-tube M157/M158 launchers, 19-tube M200 launchers for close range targets, or 8 TOW ATGMs to destroy armored vehicles from distance.

These special illustrations were brought to life by a professional illustrator Takashi Fujisawa, in order to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 4th Anti-Tank Helicopter Unit. Can you please announce that you're working on adding the AH-1st to the Playstation Store?
It should be available in next week.
Stona_WT, Really wish it were sooner, but thanks.
My cousin is an officer at Kisarazu, apparently I'm told the officer corps at the base all are rather annoyed about people making fun of them (assumedly both online and offline) for this "mascot" helicopter paintjob...but it was the upper brass's decision for promotional/recruitment purposes and the guys at the base apparently had little or no say in the matter. ※Note, for those confused, this is a real paintjob on a real helicopter at Kisarazu base in Japan. You can check google for pics of it
Watch, Gaijin is gonna start banning people who talk about Japanese culture even slightly negatively. I do feel for the officers a bit tho, having no say in the matter.
You are 2 patches too late
The're also 2 patches too late with the F-104 and MiG-21. So they better give a better MiG-21 and not the MiG-21F-13 next update or otherwise i'm just gonna uninstall this...
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) i see wat u did there .... 1.69
this will run out my money next month
da,m i need dis
Why Gajin??? Why more premium top tiers? Helicopters are already broken in the game, so why just add another one(which is pretty much in the game already with the US) just for a cash grab? I mean I am all for premiums and I can not say I am a F2P player...but adding a Cobra for $50 seems excessive.
The japanese had no heli so far. That's why. It's like the italien ground forces tree which only had two premiums until the full normal tree was added.
How to lose my 3 month saving in a click
i mean im all for new stuff but a. lets give WWII era some love and b. why dont the other nations get special camos like this? like i mean really, all nations deserve something unique...
We already have got hundreds of WW2 vehicles in the game, so right now we are trying to fill gaps in more modern machinery. (which doesn't mean we will not add more older stuff, because you cannot have enough of WW2 machines)
The Kavaiicopter arrives!
OMG, I NEED this. <3
