User-made sighting reticles
Attention! Outdated news format. Content may not display correctly.
There are three things you can watch forever: fire burning, water falling and.. enemy moving in the crosshair of your sights. Especially if it was designed by you.
We are happy to introduce a new feature which will definitely please all the fans of content customization. You will now be able to redesign existing sights for the ground vehicles or create your own from the scratch, or use someone else’s design that you personally like. It’s as simple as changing default camo to custom. See the instruction on War Thunder Wiki.
The War Thunder Wiki team would like to share their field report with you.

Y U NO JU52 GAIJIN? I WANT ME TANTE JU!
I'm having issues with the text drawing function, can you elaborate more on how to fill it out on the tutorial thing you linked?
I'm very pleased that Gaijin have provided us everything we need to know for making our own, we all appreciate the effort on the Wiki page
not sure how i feel about this id rather see historical sight then something that wWILL be abuse in some way
The opening line is one of the best I've seen on a blog post. What are the limits of sight customization? Can you extend zoom in levels with these, or is it just how the crosshairs are set up?
I absolutely love this update. I've been looking forward to historical sights for a long time, and these new sights people are making have kept me entertained for days now.
the sight for the italian tank, the p40 doesent seem to line up quite right with the rangemarkers but its nice to have an alternate to the default
