User-made sighting reticles
Attention! Outdated news format. Content may not display correctly.
There are three things you can watch forever: fire burning, water falling and.. enemy moving in the crosshair of your sights. Especially if it was designed by you.
We are happy to introduce a new feature which will definitely please all the fans of content customization. You will now be able to redesign existing sights for the ground vehicles or create your own from the scratch, or use someone else’s design that you personally like. It’s as simple as changing default camo to custom. See the instruction on War Thunder Wiki.
The War Thunder Wiki team would like to share their field report with you.

Will we ever see the TAM tank from argentina as a german tier 5 premium maybe? The hull is already in game with the new Begleitpanzer 57. That would be amazing. Plus the germans need more love, even if the TAM isn't a german tank.
can you do this for ps4 players or is this a pc thing ??
please add the MIG-21
does this mean we can change the sights to red on planes?
is it possible to import a library of (historical) sights, like packed in a zip file, drop it's contents in the right folder(s) and have every vehicle sight adjusted at once so you have the appropriate sights all at once (instead of having to adjust every vehicle by hand... because seriously a lot of these sights should be part of the basegame in my honest opinion.... just like planes have different sights in the cockpit/gunner stations, so do tanks... ah well, maybe one day...
ps, if anyone has a link to a full sight pack that does this, reply or otherwise send a note, preferably in a way everybody can enjoy :)
