How to receive ”Chronicle awards”
(Access the battles in the event's tab!)
In order to receive prizes, you must complete the event stages in order to achieve “Chronicle awards” which you can complete in the “WW II Chronicles”. You can complete three of the five tasks of your choice:

Conditions:
- You must complete tasks in special battles: Events and tournaments → WW II Chronicles.
- To receive “Chronicle awards” (ground vehicles and aircraft) you need to complete 3 out of 5 tasks for appropriate kind of vehicles. To receive a premium ground vehicle you need to complete the tanker stages, for pilots, to receive an aircraft you need to complete an air battle stage.
- Each stage is active for 2 days and will reset at 11:00 GMT on the third day when a new task will be started.
- “Chronicle awards” which will be marked in gold will be counted as completed.
- You will be able to purchase any missed stage using the in-game store.
- You can follow your progress in “Achievements → WW II Chronicles”

How do you recieve the nose art?
Hints to get things done quick. to get the plane achievement, simply fly the yaks, as the germans spam the 109, you spam the yak and try to get kills. if you kill 3 players in a match, boom you got your second achievement. then, either you play well and finish first in your team with 5 or more 109 kills, either : let the autosquad system put you with a buddy hwo is in a tank, and you shoot every target he might encounter and kill.
Please Gaijin can you give us more info about the reward vehicles, like tier and battle raiting. Thank you!
I would like one thing and one thing only. In the Tank battles do not allow the the planes bombing tanks to count for the plane event. It is supposed to be a tank battle, Yet every time I jump into a match there is nothing but planes in the air bombing the few tanks that joined the match. This kind of spam would stop if the tanks killed in the match by bombs and planes did not count as air kills. Or better yet take planes out of the matches all together. Please Gaijin listen to your tankers
I completely agree. And with the massive score multiplier planes get, its impossible to get first without using a plane. Planes get 1000 score for shooting down another plane. Do it in a tank and you get 350. I just played a game we won because the other team had 14 fighters and captured 0 points. They just proceeded to strafe us doing no damage while we sat at their spawn for 5 minutes until the tickets ran out. BORING
Also agree. This event, especially the one on April 18th thus far, is a sore reminder of how War Thunder was originally just a planes only game. Aside from SPAA AI, planes have been practically immune to any ground threat and are stars of their own matches. Tanks, on the other hand, suffer from random bombings, AND OH BOY DOES THIS EVENT SHOW THIS HUGE ISSUE WELL. If Gaijin wants land, sea, and air for War Thunder, they got to have TRULY SEPARATE modes as well as the combined forces option.
Let me just point out the con about this event and that's the tasks. The majority of us have lives to attend to; we can only manage to squeeze in so much time into War Thunder, a game we can all agree that we all enjoy. But the few tasks that you implemented just take too long to accomplish. Notably speaking, "5 Supporting Fire" and "10 Wins". I don't know how long these took me to complete, 4-5 hours, the whole day? A single player can't control the result of a match, the majority of us...
aren't even good players to affect it even. It's all come down to which team has the better players, and that's a lot of undetermined chances when different players join matches. Unless you're in a squad of above average players (which the majority) aren't, it's unlikely for that to happen. Players are left to hope their actions will make even a slight difference or to plain luck. As for the Supporting Fire task, I have never been so infuriated with a task than this. The same problem that...
Kim_Han_Sol, applies with the 10 Wins is also present here. Furthermore, when you've got other teammates playing in your match, everyone is intent on getting kills, that's ever so more when almost every single player is going for the same tasks. I don't know how many times my squad have lost opportunities due to other players trying to accomplish the same goal. Another comment author talked about this and that's how these tasks have devolved players into absolute selfishness rather than working together.
Gaijin, please fix the in game bug where your achievements are not being acknowledged or even recorded. I successfully completed the AB tank chronicles 1 and 2, only for all of my achievements in chronicles event 3 (corresponding to day 4 on the calendar) to be completely ignored. Waste of time and at this moment I include Gaijin technical support in this as they totally failed to realize the issue despite sending them screenshots of my progress, achievements and which event I was doing!!!
Please read carefully dates on each achievement. Everything is working fine.
