Dear friends! It's time for a new major update for War Thunder! A full list of new features and changes is available in the changelog on the update page. Here we will focus on the most interesting additions that update 1.67 "Assault" brings to the game!
Weapon stabilization for ground vehicles
The gun stabilizer is a system that improves the tank gun’s aim at the target and preserves (stabilizes) its aim even when the hull vibrates during movement, which allows it to perform effective aimed fire during vehicle movement or when temporarily stopped. Reaction time and accuracy between target detection and effective hit draw the line between life and death in tank warfare. This new feature will increase realism on machines historically equipped with a gun stabilisation system. Click here to read more.
Exhaust Flames for aircraft
Flames from the exhausts of aircraft engines – a small change that makes a big impression in War Thunder! You can witness the exhaust flames in several engine settings, such as when starting or switching the engine to WEP. We have implemented the flame effect for all our aviation engines with exterior exhaust pipes (except for aircraft with flame suppressors and turbochargers). This new addition offers an even more immersive experience in the War Thunder universe and just looks awesome! Click here to read more.

New Co-op missions: "Assault"!
“Assault” that’s the name of the new game mode, Co-op mission in the skies and on the ground against superior enemy numbers.“Assault” mode missions will be available for all vehicles of all ranks and nations. Assault is perfect for starting a gaming day in War Thunder! You may “warm up” a little while destroying bots before you join battles against real players or you may find a friend for a squad and get some nice booster which will may come in handy in random battles. At the moment, "Assault" game mode is in the testing stage and available only for aircraft. The ground forces mission is scheduled to launch in the coming days after solving some performance issues on servers. Filled the survey ! Now, Gaijin, please open the true naval CBT. Even if it's not stable (it's a CBT after all ! ), I prefer to get some crashes while playing boats, instead of a promise to test them in years...

Can't answer the survey after logging in it takes me to a page with the message "Update 1.67 “Assault” Welcome to the new major game update 1.67 "Assault"! Find out what’s new for this update and share your impressions with us." And a "Submit" button which is greyed out.
Log in to page before you click survey. Should works.
Stona_WT, I WAS Logged in when I tried to take the survey. Multiple times. Just tried again now at 5:35 CST US and same thing happened.
seems like a fun update. just wich it dident take 2 hours to download.
Disappointed that most new things are high tier tanks. The grind is just too bad to get them. Rewards need increased. Add what the players want gaijoob! IE; Early model P-40's, P-51's, P-47's and more Italian planes. The updated models are ok but, I would rather new planes and other items instead. The PVE rewards are dog...uh... crap. Whats up with the new .50 cal sounds? They sound about as bad as the amount of damage they do. Very disappointed with this patch. Consider listening to the players
Wait, "Favourite Achievements" isn't in the ch-logs? I was preparing a suggestion a long time ago called "Progress bars on the 'desktop'/hangar", which was basically the same, although a bit more minimalist. Strangely the suggestions that I was planning to suggest are getting implemented 1 by 1, while the ones that I did suggest aren't. Maybe I should never share my suggestions :D I still have 6-7 ideas, which I never shared. That new map would be great for my "Stratospheric event" idea, though.
Personally, I think there is a lack in regards to new aircraft. Hopefully next update we get some nice aircraft content (hopefully not premium aircraft)
Gaijin, I just updated to the new update and for some reason on my MacBook Pro the game will only open up to a super tiny (smaller than the palm of my hand tiny) windowed version. I restarted the game, changed resolutions, and it is still doing it. Please release a fix sometime today or tomorrow, because I really want to test out the new vehicles and even more importantly, play the damn game!!! Thanks.
Switch resolution in launcher to your native one. Do not use "auto" function.

I was wondering if you could fix the insane grinding and broken BR of this game, you can't say that the community is wrong when ever we say things like too much grinding or the BR is broke, this is why your community is quickly leaving they can't tank the broken BR's the endless grinding that only gets worse every update.
