You are an excellent warrior with a score of burning enemies in your wake, but your many trials have left only your driver and gunner unhurt. And the enemy is hot on your heels. «Oh, if only I had a second chance. I’d show them!» - Now you do have a second chance! We are pleased to present an improvement to gameplay in War Thunder tank battles – a trauma pack for the crew.
In Update 1.59 ‘Flaming Arrows’, any ground vehicle can be equipped with a trauma pack,
which allows you to bring one crew member per vehicle per battle back into the action.
The trauma pack can be obtained like any ordinary consumable module in the vehicle research menu and is spent in battle automatically when only one crew member is left in your tank. If you have no trauma pack or have spent it, your vehicle will be considered destroyed when there are less than two crew members left, as before. The mechanics are the same for all modes.
Use this new chance and lead your team to victory, whatever happens!
See you on the battlefield!
The War Thunder Team
Update: After evaluating your feedback on the recent developer's blog about the planned introduction of Trauma Packs, we have decided not to include the mechanic with the release of Update 1.59 'Flaming Arrows', but to send it back for revision instead.
There are already multiple ideas in internal discussion also based on your suggestions, and we'll be happy to hear your feedback once again as soon as we have more information to share.
We'd like to thank everyone who took his time to leave his constructive feedback on the topic! Be invited to leave your further ideas and suggestions in the respective areas.

What happens if you kill all the crew in the tank?
Then the crew will be dead, lol.
I'm not really sure I understand this implementation, its like having a secret extra crew-member in your tank that is waiting to replace one when you fall to 1 member left? I like the idea but I think it shouldn't happen automatically like this because it makes it too difficult to kill enemies and makes dying too tedious. I'd rather the healing to be done manually and only before you are reduced to 1 crew member. (at Least in RB and SB)
Ah, Pt76, come back to me~ One more chance to ruin your life per battle
Great idea really love it because with some tanks loosing loader is really not fun and some tanks is to easy to kill with one shot you just have then driver alive and game ower. love this idea keep it up
Old system worked great was feasible last man standing. reviving dead crew members who got an 128 shell to face is not
Everyone wants recrewing at cap points and base, I can sympathize with this. I wanted last man standing too, but slightly reworked for the large vehicles with big guns.
xxscorps, LMS made getting kills in the game too tedious, especially if you consider that tanks are able to infinitely repair any level of damage to the gun breech etc
I like this one. It's a game, should be fun, not realistic.
I'd be fine with this if it helped slightly harmed or yellow crew. Please keep red out. Would be more realistic than your competition.
I'm just assuming here but if you made t so the medics only heal wounded crew and not bring them back from the dead I think the community might be more happy.
Now thats a neat feature but I would hate it to bring back the dead. Should only apply to damaged crews
It's time to stop , where are your parents ?
