Ask your questions about War Thunder in the comment section below!
Dear Players!
Do you have a question about the development of War Thunder, that you'd like to put forward to the developers? We are sure you do - and here's your chance! Taking opportunity from the recent introduction of the Website Comment System, we'd like to give our players a comfortable opportunity to get in touch with us and ask the questions they are interested in the most!
The comment section is open for your questions from 14.00 GMT to 17.00 GMT on May the 10th. Your questions will be handled as quickly as possible, but please allow some time for our developers to answer - as you know, they have a busy schedule of adding new features to your favourite game!
Before you submit your question: Be sure to check out the Website Comment Rules as well as the additional Q&A Guidelines displayed below. In order to keep this Q&A productive for everyone, please understand that we reserve the right to remove any comments not abiding by those rules.
Depending on the interest and success of this new approach in Questions & Answer sessions, expect more of them to come in the future!
Q&A Guidelines:
- Any comment to this article must contain a question related to the War Thunder project, directed at the development team.
- All questions must be asked in the English language.
- Please do not ask multiple questions per comment, unless they are very closely related. Submit an additional question instead.
- Please do not ask marginal questions that can be answered easily by other instances (e.g. 'What is the objective of Ground Strike in Air Arcade?' or 'When is my bug report about XYZ being approved?'). Use the forums for such questions instead.
Questions are not publicly displayed immediately, but will be made visible as soon as a developer has answered them.- Upvote the questions that you are most interested in!
- Before posting your questions, try to read those already answered first, to avoid asking the same question twice.
- Keep your questions constructive, serious and in compliance with the Website Comment Rules. Thank you!

Comments will be premoderatedWell we german players have expected Ta152c to be an excellent fighter, an upgrade of Dora. Yet for now is that it has been forgotten? Because its rudder performance feels just like griffin-spitfire before, can't aim in high speed, which makes it totally useless. If possible can the develop team have a check on it ? Thx :-P
Will the Devs ever consider sacrificing historical accuracy for a vehicle in order to make it perform well/be fun to play in Warthunder? My best example for this question is the T95 and T28 USA Superheavy tanks...They are slow and their guns are objectively bad in the current meta. You hardly ever see these tanks being played. Will the Devs ever consider adding unhistorical shells for example to make a tank playable? (Seems a waste of artwork and development otherwise)
Not necessary : BR will balance these vehicles. If they are currently not good enough, their statistics will show it and their BR will be reduced.
1 when will you give Historicly accurate ammo to Italian planes (HE shells for Breda) 2 Can we expect smoke screen any time soon or soon™ 3 when will you fix Essen map, tanks are still driving over the bridge and under the river when you destroy bridges, making mission objective impossible 4 Why is B-57B so much unmaneuvarable comparing to Canberra? 5 German P-47 have no extra rockets or bombs, but US and Russian have, why is that? 6 why is number of letters limited?
well i guess i asqked more than one question per post, so here for you same questions: 1) Do you plan to add the FRENCH tech tree this year or 2017 ?
are we going to see more amphibious tanks anytime soon? It would be fun if there were more :D
I think British tanks are the hardest to play and they can't win with russian or german tanks. My question is: Will British tanks get new ammo (explosive), or for example more front armor?
Will the T-64 or Prototypes of it ever be added I do love this tank because it was when the T-Tank range change from T-54 stile to T-90 stile so the earliest predecessor to the T-90 main battle tank will this ever be added possible when other countries too get Higher Rank vehicles also?
Are reworkings of air battles, (in ways such as everyone gets historical altitude spawns, fighters spawn tactically to escort bombers, ect) still possible in the future? A long time people have really pushed for this and I hope to see it happen.
Will there me more Soviet planes or variants?
Since the KV-2 1940 was added in the last update, does that mean that we will get the German KV-2 and the KV-2 with the ZiS-6 soon as well? Or will they come with the next update after 1.57?
