Tokushu Heiki: Ki-48-II Otsu & Ki-148 Missile
The Ki-48-II is a late modification of the prolific Japanese Ki-48 light bomber, more commonly known under the allied reporting name of "Lily". During the tail end of the war, this aircraft was specifically used as a testbed for an experimental guided missile. Soon you’ll be able to obtain this aircraft along with its unique weaponry by taking part in the upcoming Tokushu Heiki crafting event!

German IFVs: From Marder to Lynx
It’s not 100% clear which vehicle is the actual first infantry fighting vehicle. Yes, the Soviet BMP-1 had unique capabilities for its time, but Germany also has a pretty strong claim. The precursor of all modern IFVs, the HS.30, was developed by Germans in as early as the late 1950s. And in 1969, they introduced the Marder, a fully-featured infantry fighting vehicle with protection from small-arms fire and shell splinters.

Following the Roadmap: Sons of Attila Roadmap implementations and some Postponements
Hey everyone! In today’s major update “Sons of Attila”, we introduced a number of Roadmap features that were previously promised. Since there’s a vast amount, we thought it would be a good idea to compile and round-up each change from the changelog into one article, so that you can clearly see what has been added. We’ve also added tables of summarized and detailed information about parameter changes and in addition to this, some postponements that we need to make. So, let’s dive into the details!

Meet Major Update “Sons of Attila”!
A vast amount of vehicles, fixes and anticipated Roadmap additions have now been implemented! Flagship jets: F-16C Block 50, Barak II and MiG-29SMT, plus jets for other nations. Italy has gained the Hungarian branch, which includes 11 ground vehicles starting from the Csaba and ending at the KF41, as well as 3 helicopters. The first South Korean vehicle, the VIDAR — which arrives as an export variant used by Norway — also comes to the Swedish tree! The visual effects of wind, smoke and ammo detonations plus more have also been improved, as well as a rank VI Bluewater and 3 premium Battleships have arrived. Two new maps, including the return of “Test Site — 2271”, are also here.
Barak II: Lightning Over The Desert
In the “Sons of Attila” major update, an Israeli modification of the F-16D two-seater fighter jet, lock and loaded to use modern high-precision weapons, will come to the top of the Israeli aircraft research tree as a flagship jet!

The history of American aviation goes back to the beginning of the 20th century, but the U.S. Air Force became an independent branch of the Armed Forces only after World War II — on September 18th, 1947. Air Force Day was established the same year — but it was celebrated only for a couple years, because in 1949, Armed Forces Day was established that united the celebrations of all branches of the U.S. military.

Heinkel He 115 C-1: The Flying Magician

The YP-38 is back for the Anniversary of its first Flight!
The YP-38, a prototype of the American heavy two engine fighter Lockheed P-38 Lightning, took to the skies for the first time on September 17th, 1940. The P-38 was the only aircraft that was mass produced in the US throughout the entire World War II. It was actively used as a fighter on the Pacific Theatre, and also did a lot of reconnaissance over Europe.
