The Mi-24D Returns to Celebrate the Anniversary of Its First Flight!
September 19th, 1969 marked the maiden flight of the first Soviet specialized attack helicopter, Mi-24. The legendary Hind became the most famous Soviet and later Russian attack helicopter — as well as most produced, its numbers being second only to the American Apache.
When: From September 20th (10:00 GMT) until September 22nd (10:00 GMT).
About the helicopter
- It’s well armored and even better armed: ATGMs with 650 mm penetration, devastating S-24 rockets and a rapid-fire machine gun to deal with enemy helicopters!

Comments will be premoderatedNice! Also the landing headlight under the front cabin should not be present on model D. It was introduced on V and P variants and stayed there onwards.
I forgot to write that it is the one on the left side.
When Poland gets its own tech tree, I can't wait to see these in its arsenal.
"When" - very bold assuming that's 100% gonna happen
I hope Czechoslovakia will be part of that tree.
Will this be coming back again next year? As I can't afford it this time
We cannot promise :( But if you cannot afford something - please do not buy it. You should spend your money only when you know you are ok with it and it will not harm your daily expenses.
Stona_WT, I always have the money, I have 128 premiums plus around 20 event vehicles, and love adding more to my collection, I have this helicopter already and can only tell people if it's worth buying, which yes, it is, it's a hind at a decent br, with good ordinance which does make it worth buying and also the dazzler skin is based.
A Hind D?
I'm ready to throw some money towards the IAR 316B. Please bring it back!
OMG, thank you, Gaijin! ❤️🔥
I can't use any choppers until there's a real in-game tutorial like all other vehicles.
