In January 1911, a Belgian pilot gave the Prince of the Kingdom of Siam a ride in a plane! He was very impressed and decided to create the Siamese Air Force. In November 1913, three Thai pilots returned home after training in France and purchasing aircraft there. The country’s air force remained under the control of the army until April 9th 1937, when it was established as a separate branch. In 1939, with the renaming of the country, it became the Royal Thai Air Force. In the 1940s, it participated in the Franco-Thai War and World War II, first against Japan, then on its side.

Yay, Belgium mentioned! The pilot who performed that historic flight was Charles Van Den Born (July 11th 1874 - January 24th 1958); the aircraft he flew was a Henri Farman IV, which had been given the name "Wanda".
THAILAND MENTIONED
Franco-Thai war mentioned! As an unhinged enthusiast of many things obscure. I really wish for some more expansion of sub-trees into WW2. Though I do know that in terms of unique and playable stuff, Thailand's early game roster isn't massive. But it does contain some memes and some gems. Both in ground and air. Thailand, The Netherlands and Romania also do have quite a few unique WW2 ships which I would love to see and sail. So I really hope to see naval sub-trees at some point.
Will it be on a 50% sale when its time for that?
