About this aircraft
- The F-20A is a versatile aircraft featuring high thrust, excellent handling, twin 20 cannons, and the capability to equip air-to-air missiles with semi-active radar homing (SARH) seekers. In air-to-air combat, it relies on AIM-7F and AIM-9L missiles, while in Ground Battles it utilizes bombs, incendiary tanks, and most notably AGM-65B air-to-ground missiles!

August 30th, 1982: That was the day the first F-20 prototype, #82-0062/N4416T, took flight for the first time. Funnily enough, it was actually built to different production standards than the following two prototypes, which as the original F-5G-1 "ECO" (Engine-Change Only) config. Different nose design, less powerful F404, and a vastly different cockpit layout (none of the head-down or head-up Digital Display Indicators). Unfortunately, it was destroyed in a fatal crash on October 10th, 1984...
