Speed and firepower are key characteristics of many vehicles in War Thunder. The experimental R400 light tank, created in Germany in 1986, is a great example of such a vehicle. Get it, along with themed German decals and a decoration in the new Fast and Dangerous ground event!
From until , earn mission points in Ground Battles, unlock stages and receive rewards!
The R400 is an experimental armored fighting vehicle built on a 6x6 wheeled chassis. Its outstanding speed is comparable to some of the best light tanks in War Thunder, along with excellent firepower as well. Its armed with the classic 105 mm L7 cannon, which has proved itself on many platforms and in hundreds of thousands of War Thunder battles, known for its accuracy and high rate of fire. The R400’s ammunition consists of HEATFS, HESH, and two types of APFSDS shells, including the excellent DM33 with over 400 mm of penetration against RHA. The R400 has all the makings of a fantastic light vehicle, both in urban combat where fast reaction time and good armor penetration are crucial, and in the role of a scout-sniper thanks to its high speed and muzzle velocity.
Among the rewards in the event is also this chest. When opened, there is a chance to receive one of the following items:
- 50,000 - 100,000 Silver Lions

If you’re near the finish line for a stage and are at 95% progress, then the price will be reduced by five times. For example, if you’ve scored , then the price to unlock this stage will be . If you’ve scored , then you’ll only need . Remember to keep this in mind if you cannot complete a stage on time!

After receiving the “Upgrade for coupon” item, you can convert a non-tradable coupon for the vehicle into a tradable one and sell it on the Market. The tradable coupon can be sold after 6 days from the moment it’s created.

Give us a month break holy bro
Plenty of nations require event vehicles much more than Germany as of right now. Why was this selected?
Let it be that way and other get regular vehicles instead ;)
Yes, so nations more in need of vehicles will hopefully get them in the tech tree and not locked behind events or marketplace.
When's the break? It's just on and on with things I don't wanna miss
Dreams come true event ends on 14.11, this one starts at 19.11.
Stona_WT, yes, 5 days of break after grinding XD It's maybe break for you, but not for most players, please let them touch grass
Why not for the regular tech tree though? To me it seems that like 90% of german light tanks are either premium or event vehicles despite them having the potential of filling in major light tank gaps in the german tree. For example 3 out of 4 Pumas (4 out of 5 if you count the Twitch drops Puma) are not optainable through the regular tech tree. The Boxers are another example where Germany is lacking a competent IFV at higher BRs while Russia is getting prototype light tanks in the regular tree
Because it is an event vehicle WDYM? all event vehicles have been premiums or just for that time.
Event vehicles don't go into the regular trees
Gib Stug IV. At least as battle pass prize. There's million of premium Shermans and T-34s variants, so why not Stug IV.
Just wanted to point out. Army is Heer. Bundeswehr is the name of the German army. Heere German Army doesn't make much sense. Heere is a municipality ^^
Hi, we are aware of the error. It will be fixed soon™ Cheers!
Not gonna lie, this is so cool, not necessarily unique since it's the same thing as the Class 3 (P) but I'm sure it's gonna be amazing, would it be safe to assume it will be at battle rating 9.0 as well?
Its not the same thing though, different hull, different turret, different wheelbase (3 wheels per side vs 4 wheels per side)
I'm not even sure why a TH-400 or R-400 isn't in the tech tree instead of the Class 3, if anything the class 3 should've been an event vehicle instead
Finally, The G11 in War Thunder. I can finally get my fill of German Space Magic!
Great but it would be nice to get more vehicles for the minor nations. I know we got the Firos for a Italy but it would be nice to get a ground vehicle for Japan.
Also maybe for Israel and France High tier
this is nice! I love these recent vehicles aditions. so fun and so beautiful. stop making me love this game more. Wife is gonna leave me!
