Dear players,
Firstly, we would like to extend our sincerest apologies to each and every one of you. We deeply regret the fact that our actions have let you down, and that we have failed to adequately address the concerns you have voiced over time. We share your passion for the game, and it pains us that our decisions have not lived up to your expectations.
Over the past week, we've been diligently analyzing the feedback you've provided. We acknowledge and agree with your concerns regarding the balance of the economy (Silver Lions and Research Points), as well as modification research. We have therefore prioritized addressing these issues as our immediate concern.
We are in the process of creating a plan to tackle these problems. While we have made some initial progress in understanding the scope of these issues and potential solutions, we anticipate providing a more detailed roadmap by the 14th of June.
We understand the urgency you feel for changes to be implemented, and we assure you, we share your eagerness. However, given the scale and complexity of a project like War Thunder, some time is required to ensure that any changes we make are both effective and beneficial to the player experience.
We are also continually reviewing the vast array of other feedback and suggestions we receive. Rest assured, these are important to us and will be addressed, but at this moment, our first priority remains the game's economics and progression.
We are truly sorry for the disappointment and frustration that we have caused. We commit to you that we are doing everything we can to improve the game, and regain your trust.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. We value your continued support and your dedication to the game we all love.

Comments will be premoderatedReally glad to see this. Just hope you guys keep to your words and finally make the game fun to play instead of backing out.
I do not trust this I don't think I'm only one (lost our trust)
I commend you it is never easy to apologize when your in the wrong. In 10 years I have seen nothing like this, however I will say that in those 10 years I've learned that what you say and what you do are two completely different things. It's a step forward and a promising one at that. We all love this game and want it to succeed. Please don't disappoint us and remember that we the consumer are the ones that keep this game alive. If you fail us we all lose. I expect to see promising changes soon.
Now, these problems are going to be hard to solve, since they are rooted in the monetization strategy for the game. Monetizing progression as a concept is not wrong in and of itself, there are other games that does this without any problems. Like Warframe for instance. The problem lie in that it's the game's main form of monetization. It would be preferable to ease up on this, and move more into other areas, like cosmetics and merchandise, or other forms of in-game content. We all love the game.
While I acknowledge this as an apology, I can't see it as anything other than empty given previous apologies and their respective actions. I would like to believe that maybe the devs/whoever wrote the article really believe the words written here and it and maybe some do, but with how long standing issues are not resolved that directly hurt players, I can't. What you need to understand is that this isn't the ultimate issue, it's the straw that breaks the camel's back, ALL of which must be fixed,
I think If gaijin would only delete the REPAIR cost as a whole and maybe delete RP CAP the game would be fixed
Really happy to read a statement from Gaijin that sounds like an actual apology and not some backhanded comment about players not understanding how a F2P game works. Good first step in the right direction, now lets see where it goes from here.
Thank you turning back in to right direction dear Gaijin. Community is what makes a game company a good game company. If you don't listen to your community, you're basically a bad company. We have a lot of examples of this. Again, it is good to see you apologizing and doing what is necessary. Thank you.
Great
Might install the game again if you guys' actions don't disappoint. I've been wanting to get back into the game but after reading through the economy updates it just pushed me away from the idea..
