BR decompression above 11.0 not possible because of queue time? BRO we cannot even abort a queue because queue times are so god damn fast!
BR spread not being lowered to + - 0.7 BR because players would face the same vehicles all the time? Gaijin then please disable mixed match making because I hate playing every nation vs every nation! One of the selling points of WT back in the day was the axis vs allies match making!
cant agree more! i love those old times allies VS aixs. IF wt have to mix team in WW2 tier, there's must be something makes players being unequal in both sides.
Same exact excuse for no BR decompression, how about you actually consider an attempt before saying its not possible?
Because you clearly know about queue times vis a vis game survivability better than the professionals in the field.
Conte_Baracca, Are you for real? "Professionals in the field" ? LOLOLOL
top tier queue times are very fast way faster than lower tiers so we legit need 15.0 to decompress right now and they claim "bUt QuEuE tImEs"
So, when you studied online game development at university is this what they taught you?
Conte_Baracca, Shill harder, dude.
About the thing of 0.7, why you don't just try, i mean, try for a week, what are you scared of? there won't be an apocalipse even if will result a mistake, just stop to "theorize" try, i mean T20 6.0 or Jumbo 76 vs 7,0? really? you can't penetrate most of enemy, but any hit on you will be lethal
Because it should work and they are worring about this fact. The same as naval EC - twice per year, because players love it and proofing Gaijin was wrong (large ships will nobody play, battles will be too long etc.)
Because a huge percentage of players only play for 1 hour a day and this could cause them to quit the game forever. Especially if they don't read the forums and news articles all day.
70% of these questions were already asnwered in previous QnA's nothing new
Reminder - majority of them were take from our Youtube channel where we asked for questions. It's you (community) who upvoted them and, due to this fact, selected to appear in this Q&A.
Stona_WT, Next time, make a topic on warthunder.com to vote, cause i didnt vote cause i didnt know that vote...
You claim to not want to change Helicopter EC or Naval battles too drastically because they're already in low population in regards to how many people are playing these game modes. I'd like to retort however that it's specifically because these game modes are they way they are that people aren't playing them. As of right now for me and my friends, Naval gameplay and Helicopter gameplay simply isn't fun enough to want to play. Changes would bring more players, not lose them.
I think there is a lot of truth to this. I agree in principle. But if you CAN'T play because of the lag time to making changes and the community figuring it out (most don't ever read any articles about the game). Makes this a little more challenging than at first glance.
I don't play helicopter because I got swatted out of the sky over and over by guided missiles by enemies I could barely see when I only have machineguns. I stopped playing naval because I went up against battleships I literally couldn't damage and the progression speed and SL gain just ground to a halt..... That's what Gaijin needs to fix - but alas, they don't..... They have no clue what they're doing or what fun is. - From a player who used to happily spend money on this game.
Give me old answers from the developers. I want read.
transcription should have been done. But I also like the new format.
This. Written is so much better in many situations, also, a lot less annoying. :D
Would you be open to the idea of a public test server (similar to a dev server before an update) where the BR spread is +-0.7 for match making? This way you can allow the player base to understand how the will change should such a BR spread be implemented in game and you'll be able to gather appropriate feedback on the situation as a whole from the playerbase through surveys.
Test server would probably be a bad idea, cause not that many people play on it along with all other issues they'll most likely test at the same time... So the result would be *very* slow queue times giving gaijin the opportunity to say "see, we told you so" and scrap it forever. Better to just change the MM on the live servers for a week or month or so and then run a poll to see what players think, or most likely just see that the player number doesn't change or even increases...
disappointing answers....
Very disappointed with the gamemode answers. I feel a lot of them were deflected. Particularly regarding diversifying GF RB and reworking AirRB. For the former they went on a tangent about war and then talked about asymmetry as if that's the only route. And the latter they just said "Oh no, attackers and bombers can win games", yes but not organically. That's why so many ask for AirRBEC as it gives them a purpose they can contribute to in a more meaningful way. Roadmaps were at least considerd
