In this digest we would like to tell you about our continuing work on improvements and fixes in the game. You can find information about all updates that have been released in War Thunder on the website special section.
Dead tanks stole the FPS!
Not all ground vehicles though. The issue might happen with clones of the same vehicle in an area - for example, backup vehicles in random battles, or copies of the vehicle in custom battles with unlimited respawn. Anyway, no dead tank will steal your precious FPS anymore. It’s fixed!
Polishing the respawn marker
Recently new markers appeared to highlight the respawn zones on the minimap. We continue to make it better - this time, we fixed the overlapping of the respawn zone frame with other markers. For example, airfields with respawn points for bombers and the strike aircraft over it.
Flight data is back to the replays
In the “Direct hit” update we had the replays interface broken. In particular, we missed the instrument data in the top left corner of the screen. Thank you for heads up - it’s happily fixed.
Proper brake
With some magic in the air with those functional brakes when landing with the landing gear detached at the beginning of the airfield. No more magic here - when you lose your gear, be ready for the hard landing. Fly wisely, and land safely!
More improvements
For this digest we have prepared a large set of useful fixes and game improvements. Be sure to read the full list which we have prepared in the separate changelog - there are many interesting things.
There is no “like” button. But you can just praise the developers in the comments.

oooh finally dead tanks no longer steal FPS :D
Now they will steal your soul!
Stona_WT, Can we expect a new Devlog today?
Thanks a lot for that first one, it was killing some maps (like Mozdok) in Ground Assault for a while.
praise the developers!
Yes lol like wth
WT has terminal cancer and Gaijin is congratulating themselves for treating its pimples? Shame.
Pretty markers! NOW it makes it easier for the ENEMY to see where you respawn. When can we have a choice of more than 1 or 2 respawns? Better still, a choice of respawn locations on the map edge (friendly area) to do away with spawn camping!
Spawn campers and suicide bombers deserve no rewards. They should kick spawn camper who kill more than two tanks in spawn unless that team has all caps. If not, they should be out working the objective and trying to win in a fair way. And if a plane dies before the bomb explodes then tank doesn't die. Unless, plane is damaged and uncontrollable from being tagged on the way in. Idk, but those players suck and I miss the old days when most players still had integrity.
pls fix my life
Can you please fix the AAA AI in general? They seem to do unecessarily ilarge amount of damage, both in airfields and near ground targets.
No kidding!!! Nothing like being in a dog fight in the middle of the map and getting taken out by AI ground units. Like wtf...
I still think the new markers are excessively big and out of place, and it was better to keep the old ones and just change colour of the selected one.
I don't quite understand the proper brake one. Does this means we land without gears won't get repaired?
When looking at the header picture you can clearly see the difference in quality between the girl and the guys. That kind of reminds me of a specific form of Japanese art.
very nice but, whats the very unwelcome and unlisted nerf to the aim-9g for? aswers please
i take this back, it seems to just have been a bug. ive had a few matches now where the motor only burned for about 2 seconds and wouldnt radar slave or show range indications on the radar since this patch. ill need to check this more
