Yesterday, during the first set of YouTube Cup tournament matches, we unexpectedly faced various, specific technical related issues. For example, the SprotenFuh team was unable to block the mode they did not want to participate in. Additionally, due to connection issues, one of the members of “Irrelevant” was not able to join.
We have also found that specific match settings were incorrect. All of these issues caused displeasure for both the participants and viewers of the tournament.
After corresponding with the teams, we have jointly decided to postpone the tournament until all potential technical issues are found. We would like to thank all of the YouTube Cup participants for their support, and wish them the best of luck in the future contests!
We would also like to apologize to both the participants and the viewers. We hope to see you again in a few weeks in the renewed YouTube Cup!

Unfortunately, there were multiple technical issues during first round of the YT cup matches. The whole goal of the YT cup was for it to be an interesting and entertaining event for the community, and it is neither fun nor productive to wrestle with technical issues instead of playing the tournament. It was much fun when it was working, and so all teams agreed that we will iron out details and re-run the whole thing in 2-8 weeks, and this time - at weekend. We sincerely apologize to everyone who was awaiting the final tomorrow and we hope to see you all on next take on the YT cup.
let the games begin!
People that play tournaments regulary and train to be the best get 1/40 of the prize, in the big final, these "influencers" get whilst they mostly dont care about tournaments at all, thx gaijin.
there are like 500 players actively playing in tourneys lmao why would there be a big prize pool
Lets face it , no one plays the tournaments unless gaijin dangles the E100 as bait.
Will the prizes for viewers be for everyone, or the first who enters the code gets it?
People need to realize that this is just for their entertainment and the prizes are a nice incentive for their fave youtuber to play/take part. I THINK I remember (keyword think don't lynch me for being wrong) when an old war thunder twitch streamer (not that old) theOrangeDoom wanted a youtuber cup or whatnot. At the time it seemed like a far off but fun idea. I guess people are just jealous that youtubers and influencers get a chance of getting a good reward lmaoo, abit dumb but okay.
I hope that theoarngedoom will come back for this.
The use of the horrible word "influencers" coupled with the teams are full of people on the list of "who?" and why do they need prises when, if they're so influential, they should just be able to ask for them anyway. The whole thing is yet another terrible idea rewarding the wrong people. What about fixing long term bugs and coming up with new games modes? Rewarding players with something better than those pointless test drives but really most of all more two way respectful conversation betwe...
between developers and players.
I'm not expecting much. I'm already used to being abused by developer decisions. Nothing has changed in years. Same old game modes, same old bugs. Blanace issues everywhere. By now standart is getting atleast 1 new tank or plane that is so far above what everything else is that it breaks the game, and getting excuse that counterparts are not ready yet so we just added this. I liked when they upgraded the graphics, yet clouds still look like pixelated garbage even on movie settings with 4xMSAA
What, no planes? Just tanks and navy? Pffff, booooooring. I'd join, but if only tanks are navy are participating, not interested. Every streamer streams only tanks, not everyone wants to watch that. I'll stick to flying.
why do you keep using the E100 as bait.... is it because you know no one will sign up for the tournament unless you dangle it infront of your community ?
Ah yes, a prize pool of an insane amount of GE, I'm sure it'll benefit them a lot when they likely have every premium already unlocked. I'm all for rewarding people for winning a tournament, but what can you really give someone that already has everything?
Most of the CC's taking part are not exactly huge, Most do not even have half the premiums in game.
It's a streamer tournament, why not offer them a reward related to their work ? Or even better, if we talking about popularity, a gift to a health, or veteran association ? We are talking about people in need of fame. You may think bigger than give more in game money and tanks to billionaires. Anyway reward stream audience is a nice bait.
The ULQ is a big problem in WT, i still don’t know WHY this cheating option is still available, seing through walls and bushes is cheating! SonGaijin don’t like cheaters? gaijin do erase cheaters accounts? So why having that natural cheat in game???
