The Mi-24 series was developed during the late 1960’s and is the most widely used attack helicopter in the world. The Mi-24D model was released in 1972 and has several distinctive features over the original Mi-24A model. This model has a redesigned forward fuselage, with two separate cockpits for the pilot and gunner in a tandem configuration, new titanium armour capable of withstanding shots from 20 mm guns, and armoured cockpit glass. The armament consists of a 12.7 mm calibre four-barrel rotary cannon, four SACLOS “Phalanga-MV” anti-tank missiles with 550 mm armour penetration, and various additional ordnance options including 23 mm gunpods, unguided rockets, and bombs.

The UH-1 “Iroquois” helicopter, also known as the “Huey”, is one of the most famous mass production helicopters in the world. Designed by the American company ‘Bell’ in the mid 60’s, this utility helicopter, which is powered by a single turboshaft engine, and also sported two bladed main and tail rotors, took part in more than 10 wars around the world, and is currently in service in 60 countries. The 1C model was developed during the Vietnam War and has an upgraded 1,100 hp engine, allowing for a maximum speed of 135 mph (220 km/h) and a 13,390 ft (5,900 m) service ceiling. As an alternative to the standard armament, which consists of machine guns, unguided rockets and 6 TOW ATGM’s, you can install an experimental XM-30 system – two 30 mm guns with 600 rounds per gun.

The T-55AM is a modified version of the T-55, developed by soviet engineers in the mid 80’s. Distinctive features on this model include increased hull and turret protection, and an upgraded fire-control system with a laser rangefinder. Also, the tank is supplied with a ‘Tucha’ smoke grenade launch system and ‘Bastion’ ATGM system, with missiles that can penetrate up to 550 mm of armour. As a result of all these improvements, the battle mass of the tank reached 41.5 tons, so a more powerful 620 hp engine was installed, allowing the maximum speed to reach 54 km/h. The main armament of this tank is a 100 mm gun, which can fire standard shells and ATGM’s. The secondary armament consists of a 12.5 mm DShKM AA machine gun and a coaxial 7.62 mm gun.
