historically speaking the IS2 was a easier machine to maintain. as many tigers fell to upkeep issues as russian guns.

I personally would take the Tiger over the IS-2 for one simple reason. Rate of fire. When faced with multiple enemies, you don't want to be sitting there twiddling your thumbs waiting for a reload. The Tiger's 88 is adequate to take out about anything it's going to face AND you can get the shots off quicker in case you're faced with more than 1 opponent.

Well this is could only have been made by someone who doesn't play WT enough. Hear me out, in general i prefer my russian tanks over my german tanks, but with the IS-2 and Tiger 1 id take the Tiger 1 for sure. Sure the IS-2 got more post penetration damage, but the german 88 fires more than twice as fast and a pen is usually a kill or crippling hit. Also the Tiger can be properly angled while the IS-2 is easy to pen from almost any angle. You dont have to agree with me but this is what i Think.
