Take part in a battle in the sky over Stalingrad in the updated enduring confrontation mode for 64 players - a familiar to pilots mode with prolonged fighting and the possibility of unlimited numbers of respawns. You can join the [Enduring Confrontation] battle even after the mission has already started.
Event will be available both in RB and SB modes!
For the first time in realistic mode the logic for the front line has been updated, combat and cargo convoys will appear more often and a new “Air Supremacy” mission is available. More information regarding the improvements in [Enduring Confrontation] can be read in the development blog.

I am just waiting for the day when RB EC will become a permanent thing... I really hope we will have this some day. I'm not really playing anymore at all cause regular RB with it's TDM playstyle gets really disappointing after 5 years of playing.
Gaijin, it's overdue that this becomes a standard game mode. The traditional Air RB is so utterly stale at this point the community is practically begging you for new ways to enjoy aircraft. This should not be a limited time event, but a continuously available mode to suppliment the Air RB queues. Heck, even remove the normal Air RB mode (keep it for Arcade if you wish) and replace it with a beefed up EC mode.
I honestly don't know why they haven't developed a combined tanks and planes EC the maps are certainly large enough to support multiple objectives and it'd allow for a lot of historical events.

64 player, that's a bit surprising. Can't wait.
It's always been 64 player, even regularly in Sim. However, rarely do that many players ever participate.
1/2 Finally what we, RB pilots, have been waiting for. Awesome event, many mistakes/bugs fixed from last time, new tasks are fun, AI works much better, does way better in battle, reacts well to the tasks and enemies appearing on the map. So far have 3,5 hours played in the event and the only thing, that would make this more epic, is less AI players and more real palyers (like 20vs20 battle would be crazy awesome!).
2/2 And of course the best feature of EC - for me the only mode in the whole current WT game (World War included) where I really enjoy playing bombers/attackers and feel like I am actually very useful to the outcome of the battle. I can find some random ground units everywhere on the map, destroy them and get back to airfield without meeting single enemy if I pick my flight path. Awesome, awesome and awesome. Best RB mode by far for me. Wish these events would be open regulary like in SB.

The formatting on the vehicle list is kind of hard to read, will Italy also be in this EC or is it just the Italian planes in the Germany tree?
