A Schwerer Panzerspähwagen (Sd.Kfz.234/4) with a tremendous gun, an SPAA on a T-34 chassis, and a P-43A-1 universal fighter! If you combine your efforts with other participants during “Operation S.U.M.M.E.R.” you will have the chance to receive many more prizes than you would be able to alone: A “United” effort for common goals!
More about the new vehicles:
Sd.Kfz.234/4 Germany |
P-43А-1 USA |
Type 65 AA USSR |
Ki-94-II Japan |
|||
The Panzerspähwagen — a fast hunter with a deadly 75mm PaK 40 cannon; it leaves its enemies no chance of survival. Many tankers are already familiar with the Panzerspähwagen’s aggressive tactics, which in addition to its fire power, is impressive! |
The Lancer — a high altitude interceptor, a long range fighter and an extremely fast aircraft for its time, armed with 4 Browning .50 cal MGs. For the U.S. this vehicle was a temporary decision before the P-38 appeared. It’s a good fighter without any significant disadvantages. |
A Т-34 based SPAA — quite a real threat for you pilots! Good maneuverability, nice armour and a favourable pair of 37mm AA guns! This SPAA will find its place in the USSR tree. |
A high altitude interceptor of Japan that was designed to engage the most deadly of American bombers - the B-29. Such an opponent would unlikely allow enemies to close in on it more than once, so the Japanese put a lot into its weaponry - 4 high caliber cannons. And, of course, a very powerful engine which allows impressive speed. |

So... I get the 40 kills and 10 victories, but seriously? Either go on a rampage and get 11 kills (which is impossible in battlerating 4.3 and higher), get 5 supporting fire (which you HAVE to play with a friend all the time and tactically wound an enemy and then he needs to kill the enemy as fast as possible. and do 5 TIMES..) or get 8 matches with 2000 score? At least when WoT did this a little ago, you only needed to do a few challenges per day, not grind for hours and hours... come on Gaijin
Getting 11 kills isn't that difficult with boom n zooming with the bf 109 F4's and they sit at 3.7 supporting fire is best done with american planes, once you get a 'hit' as long as the next player to get a hit actually kills the enemy you will get an assist. getting a 2000 score is best done by ground pounding in front line maps or in RB with a bomber with front line guns like the b25 mitchell. it took me about half an hour to get all the tasks you mentioned.
nininga, Yeeeah... I'm doing tanks, not planes.
how do we know if we completed a task???
How do I know I got a Mark of Distinction? This is the first proper time I’ve actually tried to attemp to get he vehicles, is there something on the rewards screen that I can see when I get it or does it appear on this page?
If none of you saw, you can find where to buy your missed tasks for a day in the achievments tab, not in the items shop. Just helping anyone out that's scrolling through.
Glad to see the achievments are obtainable if you put some work in on them!!! Whoever planned this event out needs a raise :p
I am trying to get the 2000 score in a match task but I get over 2000 and it stays on 6/8. Can anyone help me
What are the words the acronym of S.U.M.M.E.R. are intended to represent?
I have a unhealthy obsession with german cats
Is the Ki-94 only available as an event vehicle or will it be available on the tree later on?
On the Type 65 SPAA description, it should be '60s and not 60's. When abbreviating a decade span, put an apostrophe before the numbers (showing the omission of the 19) but NOT before the "s." which creates a false possessive. (and in that case, it would have the apostrophe after the "s" and not before since it would be a plural possessive).
