The 12th of April marks the 56th anniversary of manned spaceflights, humankind's’ first foray into space, a day that not only was the beginning of another chapter in exploration, but a moment that moved humanity from the realms of science fiction, into the unexplored worlds of science fact. It will be a record that can never be beaten, a young Soviet cosmonaut named Yuri Gagarin shook off the chains of Earth and ventured into space for a 108 minute flight on that day in his Vostok 1 spacecraft. A triumph for all mankind!

why not for the sabre A5
i am a amarican
looks like you guys forgot to put F9F-8 Cougar in the list :)
Bad event. Cannot be done in random battles and can only be done with top tier aircraft that only a few have. Ok, so if I couild grind 200k RP and 2 million SL in a few hours I could get the F-86F-2 and participate in this. What they should have done was just make it an event people can join and the aircraft they use depends on the nation they have selected. Has been done before. This would give people who do not yet have any jets, let alone top BR ones, a chance to experience combat in them.
Hey War Thunder, when are you going to fix spawn camping?
I've won several matches in this that haven't counted toward getting a decal. I.E. the count stopped at (2/5) when it should now be (4/5). What gives?
if you click on the leaderboard, you'll see how much you've gotten
Was there nothing about the 100th anniversary of the winning of Vimy Ridge in WWI?
Thanks for rubbing in that you beat us to space :) I had to learn "set theory" because of it - which convinced me not to become an engineer.
One of the worst even ever designed, too long, control aera too wide and where the victory mostly goes for the team with the less leavers .
