With the new year events over, some of you will have already noticed unique event vehicles such as the LVT ZiS-2, the Type 62, Ki-21 hei, and the Me 262A-2a Sturmvogel in your hangar. Meanwhile, our mechanics have been hard at work preparing your machines for combat over the holidays! How much fuel was consumed over the course of these battles? How many shells are now missing from their supply depots? Let's look at some of the statistics relating to this epic large-scale event!
- 155,866 battles took place during this event.
- 8,683,677 vehicles in total were destroyed, more than the total amount of vehicles produced during WWII!
- 168,767 active players participated in the chronicles over the 140 historical events.

This was one of the better collector events purely for the reason that tasks had multiple alternative completion conditions and as a result in Air AB all vehicle types were able to progress, either trough victories and high scores or trough victories and kills. I'd prefer a few more options that would be aimed at fighters but at least I wasn't absolutely forced to play bombers. I hate it when the game forces a type of gameplay on me so I'm happy you gave us a choice. Thank you.
We are always looking to improve our events however and wherever possible. Glad you enjoyed the festive events o7
I had issues with sometimes I would do three of the five and it wouldn't register. And since that happened during the first day I just gave up because it was such a grind and didn't reward me anyway
Got both planes, I didn't get the tanks because i'm not really into tanks, but I should of! Oh well, the jet is cool. :D

i didnt do any of the tasks because ever year its the same impossible tasks to complete, and im not becoming a basement dweller for a tank/plane.
Most of the (aircraft) tasks only took an hour or 2 to complete at most. And you were given 2 days to complete each task. So, at most, you would have needed to spend an hour a day to complete the tasks. Even less than that, actually, since you could have skipped up to 2 tasks. If you wanted to do both aircraft and tanks, you would have had to devote a lot of your time. But it wasn't that difficult to unlock just one or the other. You just had to be patient over the 2 weeks it took.
LOL! impossible to complete you say? Total rubbish! This was the easist one so far.
To the Gaijin people: I may like the idea of holiday events...But don't you think that there should've been a way to 'tone it down a bit'? Regular game play (A.B./R.B./S.B.) was seriously affected by the special events.Some of us players,including pilots like myself,had been seeing serious lagging side-effects while playing normal 'AB/RB/SB' battles during the holidays...& sometimes,the 'end game' scores showed it. Please make the special events 'not affect regular game play' next time.

why the hell was the type 62 given 6.7 br and some cheap lil ammo buff? it was good at 5.7, and it was ruined, after all that work i did, i get a useless tank!

you missed out not enough hours in the day for my ability so didn't bother. So a stacked survey.
I usually play War Thunder just to chill,not to collect some super rare vehicles. Didn`t bother to complete the rest of the stages.I lost interest in this event from the second stage.
Yeah the survey should have had "I didn't get anything" "I was unable to join the events" etc.
There was no option to write that one avoided playing the game more than usual just to not be a victim to the reduction in gameplay quality caused by such events =(
