The events 'Large Calibres!' and 'Rocket Science'
will be available with +20% & +20% bonuses!
Only enemies which have been destroyed and torn to shreds can be considered ‘not dangerous’, and so, what better way to achieve this than with large calibre weapons? Pilots and tankers, this weekend only, take part in these ‘one shots’ events: "Large Calibres" and "Rocket Science!"
Large Calibres
In the 'Large Calibres' Arcade event, the most hard-hitting aircraft, with 37mm cannons or higher, will go head to head in unforgiving aerial battles. Destroy enemies and lead your team to victory to achieve an additional bonus of +20% to your battle reward.

Rocket Science
In the “Rocket Science” event, ground vehicles which are armed with guided and unguided missiles will be pitted against one another in explosive combat! Victory will go to the team which is first to achieve 100 frags. It will be interesting to find out what is more dangerous: the precision of guided missiles, or the mad flurry of unguided missiles.
The event will take place on the location “ Tunisia”.

inb4 IT-1 spam
Calliopes backed up by IT-1s are the worst sin known to man
NojirokazuKuraba, true
How about a Heavy Bombers event where heavy bombers fight each other? (No Tu4 allowed)
Nice idea !
tu4 NEEDS to be allowed, Russia proud and u cant handle, GULAG
Shouldn't the Su-6 be availab as well?
we will add it a bit later
Events are all good and everything but when is an announcement for naval CBT gonna be made? I'm sure like many other WT addicts I want to book time off work / family stuff / all responsibilities for when it goes live!!
"Priorities"
Those Japanese attack planes are going to be useless in this event. I love them, but they're highly ineffective against fighters. Even in regular games it comes down to a coin toss as to whether or not you'll have any bombers to shoot down, or whether or not someone will be silly enough to head-on you.
Do you even Japanese bro? The Ki-96 is one of the best climbers in the whole game, for a prop, single or dual engine, and it can out turn almost all planes except for Spits, with proper speed. In RB*
RBT-5 will be too OP
agreed
So basically use Yak-9
Another failed event...started reading the plane line up thinking this is cool...till I got to the Russian tree.....no this is basically a Yak furball AB game..not an event, Lets see the other 80% of planes no-one flys (bombers.attackers ) not just op fighters seal clubbing so it's a "NO" for me..
Large Calibres event. Do you mean Yak-9 event? :) Everytime I tried this, there was a massive Yak spam.
It's easy to aim when your cannon is in aircraft nose (wow). Same is for both American 'Cobras.
Stona_WT, its also easyer to aim a 20 or 23mm gun theres no limit on the load out so you can roll the smaller cannons and club for the last 2 yak 9s
LoL those inaccurate rocket launchers have no chance. I might try it with the RBT since that's the only thing I have, and it has a gun :)))
