We invite you to take part in tournament dedicated to the biggest tank battle of World War II - the Battle of Kursk, which started on July the 5th, 1943! Win battles and receive prizes while playing in combined battles 7x7 on USSR and German vehicles!

For each 10 wins, a player will receive one battle trophy with one of the following:

- Random camouflage for rank II - IV vehicle of the USSR and Germany;

The Battle of Kursk tournament is a part of the series of 3 combined battles 7x7 tournaments, where the best 30 players of the series by the leaderboards (in every mode) will receive premium vehicles: the Soviet P-63A-10 Kingcobra aircraft and the German VK 4501 P tank.
Conditions:
- Tournaments starts on Tuesday, July 5th at 15:00 GMT and ends on Friday, July 8th at 07:00 GMT.
- The tournament will be available in all game modes (AB, RB and SB) in the “Events and Tournaments” section.
The next tournament, the 2nd one in the series, will mark the end of Battle for Caen on 5th of August.

Again this "Be in the top X player" thing ? Why can't you make again the old "get X kill / while driving / flying X tank / plane, win X rounds with X activity" ? I already own the VK 4501 P, but I'd love to get the P-63A-10, but with this "Be in the top X player" requirement I won't stay online 24/7 hours to get my position. https://warthunder.com/en/news/434/current/

I agree with you so much on this. Yeah Gaijin I like that you are giving out stuff but i mean not all of us are really tryhards. some of us like challenges, not competitions. Im not the best player so I never even get a chance to win anything in this game. Please Gaijin make it like it was before!
really wish gaijin would change the requirements of the tournament as i would like to win a VK 4501 P but under the stated condition that impossible for me.
Just give us some kind of grindable mission, not the "be top 30" format. Ofcourse you don't want to get endless amounts of free prems in the game that would be easy to acquire (*cough* T-V, BF109 E7/U2, RBT-5 *cough*) but perhaps reserve some low-tier unique prems for that.

I'd compare it to the E100, but with less broken matchmaking and with more chances for failed teamwork
I appreciate the event, the prizes, etc., but I think these "play 24/7 to win" events are not fun. People who cannot stay on their PCs for so many hours will never get the prizes, regardless of skill, experience, etc., because prizes are based on hours/gaming.
Yea I think like the last time "Do best out of XX games" was better system.
another terrible way for people to get rare vehicles. i thought you guys had seen that enough people do not appreciate this kind of format.
It should be something like: " Only your first 50 games played count towards the tournament. Of those the best 10 are selected to determine your score." All you are doing with the current setup is rewards no-life's that can sit at their PC's 24/7 playing 100's of games. Sorry, I'm out.

i don't know even if i quit my life to every extend i still can't play 24/7 like some people, don't they sleep? WTF with them, this is insane indeed even top 500 events are broken with those people the top 30 is just for people that will get connected to life support
