You are an excellent warrior with a score of burning enemies in your wake, but your many trials have left only your driver and gunner unhurt. And the enemy is hot on your heels. «Oh, if only I had a second chance. I’d show them!» - Now you do have a second chance! We are pleased to present an improvement to gameplay in War Thunder tank battles – a trauma pack for the crew.
In Update 1.59 ‘Flaming Arrows’, any ground vehicle can be equipped with a trauma pack,
which allows you to bring one crew member per vehicle per battle back into the action.
The trauma pack can be obtained like any ordinary consumable module in the vehicle research menu and is spent in battle automatically when only one crew member is left in your tank. If you have no trauma pack or have spent it, your vehicle will be considered destroyed when there are less than two crew members left, as before. The mechanics are the same for all modes.
Use this new chance and lead your team to victory, whatever happens!
See you on the battlefield!
The War Thunder Team
Update: After evaluating your feedback on the recent developer's blog about the planned introduction of Trauma Packs, we have decided not to include the mechanic with the release of Update 1.59 'Flaming Arrows', but to send it back for revision instead.
There are already multiple ideas in internal discussion also based on your suggestions, and we'll be happy to hear your feedback once again as soon as we have more information to share.
We'd like to thank everyone who took his time to leave his constructive feedback on the topic! Be invited to leave your further ideas and suggestions in the respective areas.

Glad your 'pleased' Gaijin because were not! I thought all the rocketry added would be bad enough, another way for rich or affluent people to buy more premium vehicles to punish the poor and line your pockets with 'silver', but this trama pack really takes it. It's foolish and needs to be removed, even the best doctor in the world couldn't use a trama pack in a minute or less to make anyone combat effective. Not to mention it's a new mod, ALL SPADED vehicles will be UNSPADED,unfair should be free
If you want to replace crew members you should have to drive back to base so what's left of the crew can remove the corpse's and bring on new staff, who really should be less effective or 'trained' if you think about it. Please reconsider this Gaijin.
This can hardly be called an improvement.Crew members liquified by HEAT or torn apart by HE shouldn't be magically revived.I don't see why trauma packs couldn't just heal injured, but alive crewman slightly, instead of having this necromancing nonsense. Anyway, any crew replacement should be at designated zones on the map near one's spawn, not this. This is sacrilege.
There is no such English word "medicaments"
Merriam-Webster reveals: "Medicament : a substance used in therapy", with plenty of medicine, cure, drug etc related synonyms.
So.... we can still have a chance of making unconscious crew members conscious again?? maybe making them still severed (etc:yellow/red indicators) after having a conscious state?? :P
itll be the devil
Personally I like the idea. *applauds* :) there is a place for it. My injured crew would appreciate a chance to see there family lol . But should they die I feel it would seem better to head back to a spawn/flag to rotate the wounded & deceased out for living members of a crew as they did in real life or abandon the tank, & save the crew.
