Ask your questions about War Thunder in the comment section below!
Dear Players!
Do you have a question about the development of War Thunder, that you'd like to put forward to the developers? We are sure you do - and here's your chance! Taking opportunity from the recent introduction of the Website Comment System, we'd like to give our players a comfortable opportunity to get in touch with us and ask the questions they are interested in the most!
The comment section is open for your questions from 14.00 GMT to 17.00 GMT on May the 10th. Your questions will be handled as quickly as possible, but please allow some time for our developers to answer - as you know, they have a busy schedule of adding new features to your favourite game!
Before you submit your question: Be sure to check out the Website Comment Rules as well as the additional Q&A Guidelines displayed below. In order to keep this Q&A productive for everyone, please understand that we reserve the right to remove any comments not abiding by those rules.
Depending on the interest and success of this new approach in Questions & Answer sessions, expect more of them to come in the future!
Q&A Guidelines:
- Any comment to this article must contain a question related to the War Thunder project, directed at the development team.
- All questions must be asked in the English language.
- Please do not ask multiple questions per comment, unless they are very closely related. Submit an additional question instead.
- Please do not ask marginal questions that can be answered easily by other instances (e.g. 'What is the objective of Ground Strike in Air Arcade?' or 'When is my bug report about XYZ being approved?'). Use the forums for such questions instead.
Questions are not publicly displayed immediately, but will be made visible as soon as a developer has answered them.- Upvote the questions that you are most interested in!
- Before posting your questions, try to read those already answered first, to avoid asking the same question twice.
- Keep your questions constructive, serious and in compliance with the Website Comment Rules. Thank you!

Comments will be premoderatedDo you have any sources that state the turret traverse rate for the T54's? Currently, the T-54's cannot compete and their traverse is one of the main reasons. Does this source also say that the turret traverse on the T-54 1947 was better than on the 1949 and 1951?
Edit: I'm sorry, T-54's can compete, but they can't compete with Leopards and M60's.
What's happening with SB? It feels like it's being pushed out of the game
Hit Detection: It became better initially after the update on May 6th, but before that for about 3 weeks, the game was (close to) unplayable for "some". Any perspective that we got rid of this showstopping issue, any compensation plans for affected players?
Have you ever thought about having different types of support in tank battles (as in artillery)? Apart from this default artillery, what about players being able to call in a smoke screen, mortars, naval guns, paratroopers, bombing runs, rocket strikes and so on?
When the Italian tree is implemented will Marcolin's CR 42 be moved to it and replaced with something else? Or will it stay?
And finally, do you have plans for other nations aside from the mentioned ones (Japan GFT, France, Italy). What about.... let's say Yugoslavia? P.S. Sorry about spamming the comment section, I had so many questions :3
anyword on dropping the br of the German kv-1B with the kwk-40? and on the j2m2/p-51/p-47 br increase?
will there be mission editor for tanks?
I know we wont get a historical match maker for obvious reasons, but what about world war mode or enduring confrontation? Player feedback was extremely positive for the historic EC from pretty much everyone I talked with. I also would like to know how you test your aircraft before release and if we could get the aircraft for actual battle on the test server so we can compare their performance and balance to others *cough cough* a Ta152C cant outturn a B25 *cough cough*
Will prototype Soviet tank models be in the game any time soon? Such as the KV-7, KV-7-2, T-150 and KV-3 with the ZiS 6 107mm ( KV-3 With Gaijin E-100 magic), The KV-220 with the 85mm, KV-2/85, the KV-1K or known as the KV-10, the KV-9 armed with the short 122mm U-11 and the KV-122. As well as the ISU-122 and ISU-152 "BM" mods. And the T-43 and T-34M, maybe the T-34-85M too. The IS-100 mod 1944, IS-85 mod 1944, IS-3 Prototype, T-54 Prototype, IS-6, and IS-7?
