Ask your questions about War Thunder in the comment section below!
Dear Players!
Do you have a question about the development of War Thunder, that you'd like to put forward to the developers? We are sure you do - and here's your chance! Taking opportunity from the recent introduction of the Website Comment System, we'd like to give our players a comfortable opportunity to get in touch with us and ask the questions they are interested in the most!
The comment section is open for your questions from 14.00 GMT to 17.00 GMT on May the 10th. Your questions will be handled as quickly as possible, but please allow some time for our developers to answer - as you know, they have a busy schedule of adding new features to your favourite game!
Before you submit your question: Be sure to check out the Website Comment Rules as well as the additional Q&A Guidelines displayed below. In order to keep this Q&A productive for everyone, please understand that we reserve the right to remove any comments not abiding by those rules.
Depending on the interest and success of this new approach in Questions & Answer sessions, expect more of them to come in the future!
Q&A Guidelines:
- Any comment to this article must contain a question related to the War Thunder project, directed at the development team.
- All questions must be asked in the English language.
- Please do not ask multiple questions per comment, unless they are very closely related. Submit an additional question instead.
- Please do not ask marginal questions that can be answered easily by other instances (e.g. 'What is the objective of Ground Strike in Air Arcade?' or 'When is my bug report about XYZ being approved?'). Use the forums for such questions instead.
Questions are not publicly displayed immediately, but will be made visible as soon as a developer has answered them.- Upvote the questions that you are most interested in!
- Before posting your questions, try to read those already answered first, to avoid asking the same question twice.
- Keep your questions constructive, serious and in compliance with the Website Comment Rules. Thank you!

Comments will be premoderatedI saw the answer about the 262HGII, and you mentioned not having enough information on its performance. But what about the R2Y2? Is there more information about this, than the 262HGII? Considering that the R2Y2 wasnt built, and only the R2Y1 was built and flown. I am graduating in Aircraft Engineering, and its quite certain that it isnt just adding turbojets to a fuselage that was designed for a piston engine, and it will work. So why do we have the R2Y2 without knowing the real performance?
Will you add biggest maps for ground forces to make tactical battles in a game mode like : 1 team attack 1 team defends?
Any news to share about implementations and/or plans to improve the experience for new or less-experienced players to keep them in the game? (Referring to https://warthunder.com/en/news/3275/current/#17
are you going to improve realistic barrles?i mean in the way of balancing it.me with my tiger 2 facing a ww2< tank is the reason i ask this.and if you say me that the tiger 2 was superior to the other tanks from that age and you had to balance it,that really didnt worked out because the tank is totally underpowered compared to the other opponents in rb.this also applies to other tanks from different nations but this is just my example.maybe i have just badluck but rb should really be an rb.
The Ju-287 is in Germany's planned vehicles tree is this plane still planned to be put into the game at some point
Any plans for new japanese jets? Especially an actual jet bomber (Can't quite see the R2Y2 as a "bomber" but an "attacker"), "Kugisha Tenga" is one good example of a japanese jet bomber that has already passed to the developers.
1. Get the italian techtree Hungarian Tanks/Planes? 2. Have the B52 a chance for War Thunder?
We know that you've stated that the Churchill AVRE with the petard mortar was too specialized but would it possible to see the Churchill with the L9 165mm demolition gun? It was tested. If not how about Centurion AVRE and the M60 variant "M728"? Which's just a M60 with the L9 gun.
Are you planning on adding self-inflicted damage from the gunner? I am talking about shooting your own plane with the gunner and damaging it (as in this Indiana Jones scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwXxxniIeQs) At least for Simulator?
Will spawn Protection be improved in any way and the spawn camping issues addressed?
