Ask your questions about War Thunder in the comment section below!
Dear Players!
Do you have a question about the development of War Thunder, that you'd like to put forward to the developers? We are sure you do - and here's your chance! Taking opportunity from the recent introduction of the Website Comment System, we'd like to give our players a comfortable opportunity to get in touch with us and ask the questions they are interested in the most!
The comment section is open for your questions from 14.00 GMT to 17.00 GMT on May the 10th. Your questions will be handled as quickly as possible, but please allow some time for our developers to answer - as you know, they have a busy schedule of adding new features to your favourite game!
Before you submit your question: Be sure to check out the Website Comment Rules as well as the additional Q&A Guidelines displayed below. In order to keep this Q&A productive for everyone, please understand that we reserve the right to remove any comments not abiding by those rules.
Depending on the interest and success of this new approach in Questions & Answer sessions, expect more of them to come in the future!
Q&A Guidelines:
- Any comment to this article must contain a question related to the War Thunder project, directed at the development team.
- All questions must be asked in the English language.
- Please do not ask multiple questions per comment, unless they are very closely related. Submit an additional question instead.
- Please do not ask marginal questions that can be answered easily by other instances (e.g. 'What is the objective of Ground Strike in Air Arcade?' or 'When is my bug report about XYZ being approved?'). Use the forums for such questions instead.
Questions are not publicly displayed immediately, but will be made visible as soon as a developer has answered them.- Upvote the questions that you are most interested in!
- Before posting your questions, try to read those already answered first, to avoid asking the same question twice.
- Keep your questions constructive, serious and in compliance with the Website Comment Rules. Thank you!

Comments will be premoderatedWill low visibility roundels (decal) be added? Many nations have their roundel insignia in a more stealth way for night fighters or observation aircraft.
How will WT simulate spaced armor and special ammunition? For example ,the Type 91 APC's special underwater ballistic,The British 6 CRH shell ,also, the small caliber Type91(8in,6in)with half cap in that may smash when hit case hardened armor, like the Class A,VH and KC
That's a question about naval ships
Will we get a tech tree for "other countries" (often called international tech tree in the forum)? There are a lot of cool vehicles out there that just don't fit in any of the other tech trees (Sweden for example: Stridsvagn 103 and the J-29 (?) Tunnan
Will there be a change in the current RB jet battle ratings, with adding the BR's 7.3, 7.7, 8.3, 8.7 and maybe extend the jet tree to 10.0 or 9.3?
Another question is multi-layer armor, for example the Littorio Class Battleship have 70+280 Terni case hardening armor with cement in the middle and it will probably de-cap the 15 or 16 inch shell and the shell body without cap will crash when it hit the 280mm hardened armor, will you make it?
Maus can't really compete on 8.0 (T-10M while usually killable with AP on front is tricky) wouldn't 7.7 be better since it is a WW2 tank
It is 8.0 in AB and 7.7 in RB already but i agree with what you say Maus should get it's penetration and turret armored fixed if it's to stay at 7.7 in RB if not 7.3 is deserved.
Do you plan to fix the fonts in game and leave it fixed? Chat looks like it has 80% opacity, Flaps and MEC messages as well, they don't have any shadows (impossible to read in most cases)
Do you plan on adding any more British Jets? (Possibly later versions of the hunter?)
is it possible, that in future, there will be a belt-editor, where you can design your own ammunition belts for machine guns and canons for tanks and planes? So that you can design your "own" ammunition ?
Will world war mode combine player controlled ground in air vehicles?
Ground and* Air vehices? Type'o
