On July 20th, 1951, the Hawker Hunter jet fighter took to the skies for the first time. Thanks to its speed, reliability and easy maintenance it quickly became a favorite of pilots across the world: over 20 countries used Hunters, while Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia) still employs them in its air force today.
Hunter FGA.9 temporarily on sale for Golden Eagles
From July 20th (10:00 GMT) until July 24th (10:00 GMT) the Hunter FGA.9 with Rhodesian Air Force livery will be available for purchase for Golden Eagles.
The Hunter FGA.9 may not be the most maneuverable fighter, but it’s really fast and has a great climb rate — making it perfect for Boom ‘n Zoom attacks with its terrific AIM-9E Sidewinder missiles. And when they’re out, 30 mm ADEN cannons start singing: even one hit with their rounds is usually enough to critically damage enemy aircraft.

Comments will be premoderatedcool but shouldnt be this expensive
Agree, it could be a tiny bit cheaper but it's not too bad
totally true, when the vehicle come back with no discount it will be hard to sell, cause most of them already have a better or similar replacement. That's why they were hidden in the first place.
unfortunately at 9.3 with the current BR compression its a subsonic without flares that can face all aspect 30g missiles
unfortunately there is no point in getting this vehicle, no flares at 9.3 is a real killer when you will consistently see A-10s and Su-25s with all aspect missiles you cannot evade. you are also outclassed in terms of speed by many of the other vehicles at the br such as the F-104. The F-4J(UK) is a much better pickup even if it constantly gets sucked up into 12.0 matches
I feel like this was just out. But nice nun the less
Albania airforce decal when
I love the Hunter and already have the FGA9. As a suggestion, how about doing limited edition (Historical) skins that are available for GE for these anniversaries? It would give something different for those who already own the aircraft. I would love a UK Hunter skin for the FGA9 and this is the only way I can see it happening
Can you give it its CCIP?!
For anyone wondering the performance is pretty good and the missiles come in handy but not your main armament, at 9.7 you *can* do well but you need to position yourself properly otherwise a some IR missile is going to ruin the match for you
Over 20 nations flew the Hawker Hunter and yet we only have variants from four in the game.
